I said the same a few times. How much more could she cope with? She had a dead body feet from her door, a baby she kidnapped & likely had zero idea how to care for.

LONGGGG time lurker, first time I've felt desperate need to post. I know HB fiancee's clearly in the clear now, but some ppl thought his interview appeared differently. My 3 sons are on the autism spectrum, and I just saw his interview. The awkward laughing, not comfortable /able to make eye contact, repetetive swaying - Years ago I would be suspicious. Now I know the triad of impairment, social & communication difficulty, repetitive motions, it's easier to get a grip. Just a consideratuon.

Yes, I knew someone with that disorder. She had no eyebrows. The name of that disorder is Trichotillomania.

I figure there was a minimum of six months of a huge charade, maybe upon learning Heidi was pregnant at 2-3 months, MF exclaimed “omg, meeeee toooooo!”
So for months she had to be under extreme stress in order to pull off such a prolific lie 24/7.
I’m guessing SC and Tammy can think of a lot of strange behavior by MC, looking back to Margo’s birth and days following.

I read that she helped Heidi plan her first baby shower back in 2013, and probably started seriously trying to have a baby around that time. The desire to be what Heidi was and had- a wonderful, devoted Mother had started around this time. She may have started infertility treatment-self medicating to save money since infertility treatment is super expensive. She found the info on Reddit or somewhere else and nothing worked, so she tried more hormones and that didn't work. and then of course being crazy she thought more hormones would be better. Her appearance really changed over the last few years. Her hair started falling out, her body was tricked biologically into false pregnancy and storing extra fat plus other changes. I bet she even fantasized there was really a baby and she was pregnant. Over the years this took a toll on her mentally.

She just couldn't get pregnant year after year, every one else on social media had her dream family and then the scheming starts:

I think she started posting about having a baby bed for sale on a site earlier this year or late last year, this may be when the abduction planning started. She was looking for a random mom and from what I hear from Tim, she could talk people into believing almost anything. She was so confident in her ability to con people... She just couldn't get her "stranger" abduction plan to work.

Of course Heidi has this beautiful baby girl and she cracks. She wants nothing more to have what Heidi has. She didn't plan out anything except getting Heidi's baby, didn't even plan out what do with the deceased body.

Agree - I have a hard time believing that the police would send CPS to be the first contact with a potential killer/kidnapper. It seems unsafe for everyone.

I don’t think so. I think she might have some physical ailments coupled with stress factors. Jmo tho.

MF isn't delusional in a clinical sense of having actual delusions that are unconnected with reality. Psychopaths are instrumental in their thinking. She was friends with someone because they could do or get something from them. That's how to understand how she switched from concerned friend to callous murderer. Baby M was also instrumental. She needed a baby to for a reason: to hold on to a boyfriend that underwrote her lifestyle. She would be a dangerous mother. Thank God that the angel was only in her care for a short time!

Birth centres are different from hospitals. I'm Canadian, so I cannot speak to price, but the difference between birth centres and hospitals is that birth centres is that birth centres are equipped with a lot of hospital amenities (no epidurals though) but are less "intervention" prone than hospitals. They're sort of like a middle ground between having home birth and hospital birth. You would have a midwife at a birthing centre. Any birth that's attended by a midwife or obstetrician would be registered as they are required to do a declaration, so the paperwork would be the same. As for the length of stay, it's really individual to a person's needs. Lots of birth centres will discharge within 24 hours, but so will a lot of hospitals now. There's nothing wrong with birth centres or anything shady that would make them more alluring than a hospital, honestly. She may have said birth centre because they're much smaller, so less chance of someone she knows knowing someone in the hospital that she "delivered" at.

I think it's mentioned in the way you've described above because the general population is super uneducated about birth and don't realize that it's a legitimate place to have a baby, just like a hospital or homebirth are.

You can't self medicate with fertility drugs. They have to be prescribed by a doctor and you are closely monitored - bloodwork and ultrasounds. Unless she worked in a fertility specialist's office and was stealing drugs, I doubt this is what was happening.

I think she really didn’t want a baby as much as she needed one to preserve her living situation. Just coming off a felony charge for theft, she would have a hard time finding a decent job, imo.
Maybe she experienced some events causing her life and mental health to spiral out of control. Idk
