I just wanted to introduce myself. I hate to say I'm happy to have found this place, but I'm glad to come across it on the Netflix Show, Into The Fire: The Lost Daughter.
I have always been interested in true crime and my entire life there have been cases that have just bothered me so much. There is a case of a local woman who was last seen walking along the hwy. I think she had been living in some kind of group home. Nothing was ever said about it again. That's just one of them. There are so many cases out there that seem to go under the radar or for whatever reason end up not investigated as thoroughly as they could be.
I had heard about places like this on the web before, but I never could seem to find them. Then, thanks to the show, I found this place.
I'm not even sure what I can do to help yet, but I do know that I have a lot of skills that can be used to help others. So, I'm going to sit back and read and learn and then start seeing where I can help. I look forward to getting to know more of you and your stories.
So, this is me, I'm Jay, 48 and I have enough time on my hands that I can give time and effort to a place like this. Hi everyone!

Hello, I'm new to this site as well. I also watched that Netflix show and was so interested after finding this site. I always wanted to be in the FBI growing up learning about profiling serial killers but ended up going into Healthcare. I am glad to know that there are so many wonderful people out in the world helping these cases. I hope once I learn how to use this site I to will be able to make a difference. Welcome and nice to meet you!!

Welcome Fairgirl420. You will find the members very helpful.
Just posting a positive message to a missing person's case can help. We hear from family members of the missing who thank us for keeping their loved ones' cases alive. You can make a difference!

Hello, my name is Happy and I am new here too. I live in Texas and I have several easy to solve cold cases that I simply do not have the money to get solved. I am also physically disabled and cannot get to libraries to research tax records and year books from high schools that I know two of the victims came from, also weather reports from the 1970's that would help narrow down some of the possibilities. The victim sheets that I created are in excel and that will not attach here. <modsnip> I promise you will be amazed how some of them will just take a lot of foot work that I cannot accomplish>

Hi Jay! I bet you will love it here. I have been here 14 years!
I need help posting some victim sheets, they are in excel. <modsnip> They are really simple but will require some leg work. I am disabled and cannot do that part also I am on disability and cannot afford anything beyond the basics, that's why I am here asking for help.
