Help Needed on Michigan Murders 1969-1980

I was hoping to get some help with compiling a list of missing/murdered women from 1969-1980 in the state of Michigan. I’m specifically looking for victims that were white, attractive and young (17-29) years old. I’m trying to do more research and any help would be greatly appreciated! No matter how small or famous the case may have been at the time. The cases can either be solved or cold. Any information would help greatly! This is for research purposes and any information provided could be vital.

I would recommend getting a newspapers.com subscription and digging thru the archives yourself. I dont know how many michigan papers are in there tho

Though some of it pre-dates 1969, I would check out the John Norman Collins thread. Also posts over the years by @Richard

I would be interested in him however since he was locked up before a specific murder I'm researching I know for a fact it wasn’t him I do really appreciate your tip though!

Ruth Postif, murdered in 1973. I already have one thread about it, however I did want to gather info on other murders of young women in the 1970s to compare for crime patterns such as the perpetrators MO. hence me mentioning 1969-1980 in my original post on this thread. I already have every newspaper clipping possible from newspaper.com but I’m trying it look at some unbiased crimes (in regards to Ruth) from that timeframe
