Henry Lee- A Hired Gun and His Theories

  • #21
Here is my own personal list of what excuses he will make to exonerate Casey Anthony. . Feel free to voice your opinions of him.

1.) Contaminated evidence at the scene
2.) Date of Caylee's death unknown
3.) Police contamination in general
4.) evidence too degraded

...the list can go on and on with Henry Lee.

hopefully he won't be spitting any ketchup.
imo he needs to work on his tendency to say things he shouldn't be saying.

I respect Henry Lee's experience and knowledge, but I have been disappointed in his involvement in some other high profile cases. I believe him to be a typical "hired gun" that will spin the evidence (or lack thereof) to defend the position that he has been hired to support. All you have to do is look at the OJ case to see what I mean.

He has jumped into most of the high profile cases...so it is no surprise to me that he would jump at the chance to be part of this one. Look at the huge media blitz this case has seen.

really. just look has jumped aboard the casey train recently. teeveetime!

I think all he does is confuse the jurors. Remember the case where he spit the ketchup out his mouth to show blood spatter patterns?

Wasn't that the Michael Peterson trial? Didn't work, they guy got convicted!

Hopefully, the judge will allow the prosecution to bring up Lee's questionable actions during the Spector trial. That would be tantamount to an immediate impeachment of this once distinguished scientist. He has destroyed his own credibility, in my opinion, by his own dubious actions and words.

Hi ya Luvbeaches,

I think you are right on about the fingerprints, and wonder what angle Mr Lee will come from.

Hey, Scandi!

If Casey's prints are on the inside of the bag, or on the tape, not sure how he could explain that away. And if she bit that tape to cut it, there could be saliva still on the backside of the tape. I think Dr. Lee will try to explain this away, but I don't think he'll be successful.

Dog hair, lint or fibers and anything else possible found on the duct tape that leads back to the Anthony home wouldn't necessarily show Casey as the killer or one who prepared her for disposal IMO. There were several people living in and frequenting that home.

I think what's going to do Casey in on this is her conflicting statements, the evidence from the trunk, and if there are fingerprints on the duct tape or the trash bag, then I think it's all over for her. What remains to be seen is if Casey planned to kill Caylee, or was it an accident. However, drugging and duct taping your child's mouth shut would hardly be considered an accidental death, IMO. One could almost expect harm to come to someone in those circumstances, so lesser charges may not happen.

The video on Channel 6 that told of clothes being found very near the skull is very important, and since Casey had said SS to the clothes not being found, this could tie her to the crime IMO.

I agree with you...the clothes are going to tie her to the crime. I'm sure the defense if going to try and place the blame on everyone but Casey. I just don't think they'll be successful. Casey is hardly the grieving parent. Shades of Scott Peterson.

I bet she never dreamed this bag would surface and circumstances prevail that would lead to the clothes floating out of the bag to then lie in bright sunlight to be found. It could even be what drew attention to the bag by the man who found Caylee. xox

I'll bet you're right...she thought she was home free. It could have very well been the clothing that drew attention to the bag. I'm always amazed when people are just at the right place at the right time...thank goodness the gentleman that found the bag chose that exact location. A few feet either way and he may not have made the discovery.

I think you're right about that being from the Peterson trial. I remember seeing that demonstration and thinking...WTH? It wasn't that long ago that Dr. Lee always seemed to be testifying for the prosecution...now he seems to always be on the defense side. And not successfully, I might add (like in the Peterson case).

I don't like any of the "experts" defense is using.

They may be experts but from what I have seen of Lee, Badin and W in the past is they will always make it appear to favor whoever is paying them. There appears to be no scruples in any of them to the length they will go and the tricks they will pull.

Personally if I was on a jury using them I would only trust the county, state of FBI personel.

I agree with you. Depending on which side hires them...that's the way they view and relate the evidence and crime scenes to the jurors. Many times these so-called experts backfire on the defense. Remember the doctor that testified in the Scott Peterson trial? The one that asked the prosecution to "cut him some slack." lol So these guys can get up there and say what they want...but it doesn't mean the jurors are going to buy what they are saying.

"Once" is they key word with Lee. What happened with this guy?

Hi again Luvbeaches,

:D Maybe that was the famous spitting ketchup episode.

Lee was caught several years ago in some Lab chicannery, and, too bad, I cannot remember what it was.

I do not trust the man, he just goes for the gold..$$$$$$$$$

The judge in the Spector trial basically said Lee lied on the stand.
