I found this Website while looking for the latest news about Jeff. I was part of a team that searched the area on November 13th.

The Meek property is mostly a steep hill and has no structures on it. Most of it is covered in tall, thick foliage. I doubt that Jeff went there to “work” on it, for motorized equipment would be necessary to make any significant improvements. If he went there to do anything regarding that property, I suspect it was to plan his dwellings. I definitely would not drive a two-wheel-drive pickup truck there until a road is carved. It is too steep, and especially in the morning the foliage is slick with moisture. A Jeep or ATV would be more suitable.

None of us found anything of interest in the area. One of the team members is of the opinion that the truck was not stuck but simply parked there because there are no wheel wells that would have been created had the truck been engaged repeatedly in forward and reverse to become free.

Finding bodies on this island is extremely difficult because of the ocean, lava fissures, and rain forests. A Michigan man went missing on Mauna Kea in 2007. His remains were not found until 2013—and he was out in the open.

I do wonder why nephew would get a phone call ( we think it was a call) about Jeff's truck being stuck in the mud.

That certainly opens up a lot of questions

ok. So I sat at my desk and wrote down my thoughts. If it was a drug situation, I dont think its for drugs bought in the present. Reasons for that are that if they were spun out on drugs, the church members would notice. These people don't even drink caffeine. Also, my niece and husband live there. Both are very straight laced. They would have noticed and that would never fly. Also, they don't look skin and bones like they did in pictures taken in dana point. Even so, it could be old debt from when they were doing drugs when they first got to Hawaii. It could be he was a go between for selling. No one would notice that at church or home. But you know what? I'm also thinking that maybe he needed a large amount of money for something and didn't or couldn't ask his mom. Maybe he borrowed it from the wrong kind of guy. Maybe that was the missing money from the books was him trying to pay off the debt without being noticed. Someone should ask any of the fired employees what was the skuttlebutt around the company.

The reporter says that your Nephew got a text at 9:18 and a call sometime before that
It is always possible that its inaccurate reporting

If it was a text instead of a call, I am going to assume we may have seen that one also?

When I knew them it was obvious. They couldn't function Mary hardly talked before. When they started she became more of a recluse. So that jives with me. I have struggled with them being n it now. But the silence is my only reason for thinking they were on it.
Being a pothead for a lot of years and seeing the drug world I highly doubt it Was an old debt.
Drug dealers need constant income. They wouldn't wait. It's either now or not at all.
So ... That leaves his business. I had thought maybe he borrowed money to do a big job.
But I also know that you can ask for materials cost up front.
I wish someone who knew Jeff closely that lady two weeks was here and could tell us truthfully what Jeff was doing in the last weeks.

No, Rubio. Jeff was my husband. The two girls you met in Dana Point were my daughters. I believe they lived alone in Hawaii, until recently when our niece moved in. Her new husband is the nephew whom jeff supposedly texted to say he was stuck in the mud. Thank you for your insight on drug dealers and paying back. WHile I still have that theory also working, I'm going to start on the business angle.

It is of great importance and as i said, it was the reporter who used the word "call"
That's all we have

My point is, we have seen the texts sent from Jeff's phone
Wouldn't we have seen that text as well? The one saying he was stuck?

I read that the caves were searched previously after the family used a Website application to ping Jeff's cellphone. I don't believe in the accuracy of the Website, but I suppose it's better than doing nothing.

I have to be completely honest here. and I've been this whole time. I was about 2 mins into the video of the caves that plumeria put up and I started panicing and shaking and I vomited. About the dripping water can be heard. I've got a BAD feeling about those caves. We've established in this forum that the caves are dense. God, I hope this isn't where he's dumped.

In the video the reporter states that Jeff's sister spoke to him by phone right before he went missing. His sister says nothing was wrong and he said he was going to church on Sunday. It would be helpful to know what time his sister spoke to him. What exactly does the reporter mean by...."right before he went missing." 8AM? 9AM? Friday night?
