Circumstances of Disappearance: Keith GARKOWSKI was an active Naval Officer assigned to the U.S.S. Leftwich, which was temporarily docked at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. GARKOWSKI was last seen aboard his ship by his shipmates on 7-19-1987. GARKOWSKI apparently left his ship, leaving all of his personal belongings behind, failed to return, and failed to show for duty thereafter.
