Hawaiʻi Island police are renewing their request for information about a 37-year-old Kailua-Kona man who was reported missing.

Robert Keawe Lopaka Ryder was last contacted on Thanksgiving Day, 2013.

He is described as 5-foot-10, 150 pounds with green eyes and short brown hair.

Police have renewed their request for the public’s assistance locating two men missing in unrelated cases.

Robert Keawe Lopaka Ryder of Kailua-Kona has not been seen since being last contacted on Thanksgiving Day in 2013.

Police confirm identity of murder victim as Lopaka Ryder

Kona police sources say officers were led to Ryder's remains Monday by a man who confessed he was involved in a murder and could show them where the body was buried.
Police sources say the alleged accomplice claimed he was coerced into helping another man corner Ryder and later assisted in disposing Ryder's body.

A Kawaihae man has pleaded guilty to murder in the 2013 death of Kona musician Robert Keawe Lopaka Ryder.

Martin Frank Booth on Oct. 15 pleaded guilty to second-degree murder before 3rd Circuit Court Judge Elizabeth Strance. Strance will sentence Booth, who remains incarcerated at Hawaii Community Correctional Center, on Dec. 15 in Kona.
