WELCOME to Websleuths!
It’s a great place to dig into true crime cases.
I often come here to get the very latest info about cases and events. Members post links to mainstream media sources for the current news on each individual threads. There is also a section titled “Today on Websleuths”, and within that is a section with links only about what new thing happened TODAY that could be a discussion thread for our site.

My best advice is to spend time just reading threads that interest you. Explore the discussions and you will get a sense of how Websleuths works. You may notice that unlike most other places on the internet where “anything goes”, Websleuths is fact-based and victim-friendly. Families of victims are considered victims also unless law enforcement says otherwise. These guidelines are one of the reasons Websleuths is considered the gold standard of true crime discussion forums.

It’s an also a very good idea to familiarize yourself with the Websleuths rules. They are linked at the bottom of my signature on this post.
