Hillary Clinton Hospitalized

Seriously? You think the hospital is going to lie about the cause of her condition? I don't think so.

Hospital has only commented on her current condition. Her spokes people are the only ones who mentioned anything about about a concussion, previously. Like I said, never have heard of anyone being put on bedrest for 3 weeks with a concussion, especially someone who has a history of clotting. They want you up and about for everything. I'm not saying she should have been up running a maraton, but even, the before mentioned Dick Cheney showed his face after a couple days.Think of Reagan after nearly dieing after being shot,he came to the hospital window) There is a reason she was not seen for 3 weeks. (maybe its as simple as when she fell down, she was badly bruised).
I don't think there is any grand conspitacy, just question how healthy the poor woman really is.

If she's still dizzy, you gotta know she's loaded up with blood thinners-- maybe they're preventing another fall? Plus, I imagine she's completely exhausted, she has a tough job. moo

Oh Lord, isn't that the truth. DH had A-FIB many years ago and managed to produce 28 clots around his heart. Thankfully, surgery got them all. But I can only imagine what she's going through right now.

Docs say one false move and anything can happen (well in my DH's case). Not sure what happens in the location around the brain -- but just as scary!

Get well soon HC!

bbm

I would think they are doing everything to avoid that clot moving down to her heart or lung-- yeah, she's probably not even getting out of bed for anything, if you get my drift.

I hope she's not trying to work.

Get well soon Hillary and....leave those young doctors alone!! J/K Praying a speedy recovery for you.

I always wanted a Hillary and Condi presidental race. It would be interesting to see how two intelligent women would handle it all and if there would be any noticable differences in the campaigns vs two men running. Whole different ballgame.....I would think.

If you are planning on running for President you don't want to appear to have health issues.

I think she would just like to finish her job as Secretary of State before she makes another political move.

(CNN) -
Secretary of State Hilary Clinton was hospitalized Sunday for a blood clot that formed after her she fell and suffered a concussion a few weeks ago.

The clot was discovered during a follow-up exam related to the concussion, said Clinton's spokesman, Philippe Reines, deputy assistant secretary of state. Clinton, 65, was expected to remain at New York Presbyterian Hospital for the next 48 hours for monitoring and treatment with anticoagulants - drugs that prevent clots from forming or prevent them from growing larger...

During the last hour, CNN reported and showed video of Hillary Clinton leaving the hospital in a van accompanied by Bill, Chelsea, among others. I haven't been able to find a link to the report yet, but it was suggested that Ms. Clinton might be going to another facility for tests because there is no indication that she has been released from the hospital yet. Video showed the Secretary of State exiting the hospital on foot, walking down a few steps while holding a handrail, and getting into a waiting black van.

I will post a link as soon as it's available.

Now I feel really badly because I thought the concussion was an excuse to get out of testifying on Benghazi. I do not share Hillary's political affilation, but ill health transcends all of that.

I do hope Hillary recovers quickly and does well. I honestly wish her the best.

i was so disgusted with the fox loons who kept spewing this baloney. unlike you, they have expressed zero remorse though.

leave it to the republicans to find a way to make anything and everything as slimy as possible. can't imagine how her daughter felt.

AND...she's still been working in the hospital!

http://www.iol.co.za/news/world/clinton-discharged-from-hospital-1.1447132

...........“Grateful my Mom discharged from the hospital and is heading home,” the secretary's daughter, Chelsea, wrote on Twitter. “Even more grateful her medical team (is) confident she'll make a full recovery.”

Earlier on Wednesday, the State Department said Clinton had been speaking by telephone with staff in Washington and reviewing paperwork while in the hospital...........

“She has said that she is open” to going before Congress, Nuland said on Wednesday, while Clinton was still hospitalised. “We are working with them now on their schedule, because there's also a question of when they are going to be in.”

Clinton had expected to return to work this week and had already started to resume regular phone contact with her foreign counterparts. On Saturday, the day before the clot was discovered, Clinton had a half-hour conversation with Lakhdar Brahimi, the UN envoy to Syria, in which the two discussed the state of affairs in that country, her spokeswoman said.

Also on Saturday, Clinton spoke by telephone with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, discussing recent developments in Syria, Afghanistan and the Palestinian territories.

1bbm, You know after reading this and looking for articles on the issue it really isn't fox that is saying it, but the people(guest) that are on their news show that say these things. I guess that is what is meant by balanced news, you will hear the good with the bad.

2bbm, I am lost on this?

3bbm, I wondered how she felt after the monica episode.

Whether it's bad or good news it should be the truth.

I see the last thread on Hillary's concussion was shut down.

You don't have to be a Hillary fan to wish her a full recovery. Please leave all political and snarky remarks at the door. Time and place for everything peeps.

Just bumping this up for good measure.
