I don't know. These aren't my videos. I ran across them on youtube. My understanding is this is footage that was aired as "live footage" during the gulf war(?). If you watch both videos there is footage that shows it was a news broadcast, complete with anchor "at the desk" speaking to the reporter "live" from Saudi Arabia.

But, I don't know.

The only parts which went out over the air were the 'straight and serious' parts. I well remember poor Charles Jaco exclaiming "It's gas!" and donning his mask. His career seemed to go downhill after that; however, he is currently a journalist somewhere in the midwest. Jaco was the interviewer when Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin made his "legitimate rape" comment.
