Apparently Decatur County DA Matt Stowe was issued a subpoena to appear before the court today, not sure why.

He's considered indigent without finances - meaning state will pay his defense.

Judge reading charges and JA responding. Pleading Not Guilty to all counts.

Judge: "You're going to get more (Discovery) than you bargained for."

Attorney: "I will be filing all my motions again due to heightened scrutiny."

Again mentions Aug. 26th - not deadline but early hearing date.

Judge: "I've tried very hard to get this thing on track. There have been times that it felt like the children's game Whack-A-Mole."

Attorney: "I've never been whacked by you, and I hope I don't get whacked now."

Judge: "I have neither friends nor enemies."

DA will meet with lawyers in face-to-face over harddrives full of info.

Attorney: All parties should be included in all communications in light of the new charges. DA agrees.
