The croc shoe is very important since Dylan Adams pinpointed in his testimony to authorities that he saw his brother, Zachary, with Holly Bobo on the day of her disappearance and Zach was wearing crocs.

I'm sure ZA is a monster. His life history is strong evidence of that.

But how can a Croc shoe print point to anyone in particular? They are very common shoes. I don't find that evidence (if it even exists) compelling at all, because there are hundreds of millions of Croc shoes sold. A Croc shoe print coulda come from anyone's Crocs.

A Simplified Guide To Footwear
& Tire Track Examination

Yes, imo, the crocs will be very important, especially if ZA's crocs were found and collected into evidence during the search warrant conducted at his home:

Individual characteristics are unique aspects of a particular shoe or tire
that result from use, not the manufacturing process. These could be from
damage such as a cut, gouge or crack, or a temporary alteration like a stone
or twig stuck in the tread.

Wear characteristics result from the natural erosion of the shoe or tread
caused by use. Specific wear characteristics include the wear pattern, the
basic position of tread wear; the wear condition, the amount or depth of the
wear; and where extreme, the damage to or destruction of the tread. For
instance, the location and amount of tread loss on a particular brand and
style of shoe will be different for each person wearing the shoe based on
how and where they walk, and the length of time they have owned the shoe...

Can someone give me a brief history of ZA's life and crimes?

Can someone give me a brief history of ZA's life and crimes?

His Rap sheet:

http://ftpcontent.worldnow.com/wsmv/AdamsCH.pdf

He lived in a house he inherited from his father. His grandfather lives on the property also.

He once shot his mother in the knee during an argument.

His grandfather has had to call the police on him multiple times.

He also assaulted a law enforcement official (a park ranger IIRC) shortly before his arrest for the Bobo murder.

A woman by the name of Heather Sullivan was assaulted outside her home by a male subject who was never caught. After seeing ZA on the news, she claimed it was him who assaulted her.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/holly-bobos-alleged-killer-tied-to-previous-abduction-try/

Zachs former step father stated that during the time he was married to Zachs mother, he was so afraid of Zach that he slept with a meat cleaver next to him. The couple eventually had to get a restraining order. The stepfather suspects also that Zach may have been involved in Holly's murder.

http://wreg.com/2014/03/08/zachary-adams-former-stepfather-speaks-out/

Zach is said to have also threatened both of his grandparents with a shotgun.

Shortly before his arrest for Holly Bobo's murder, he was arrested for aggravated assault when he held a gun to his girlfriend's sisters head and threatened to "gut her" with a knife.

http://wreg.com/2014/03/06/zachary-adams-violent-past-revealed/

According to the TBI, shortly after Zach's arrest, he tried to send a message to his brother Dylan (through another inmate) threatening to put him "in the hole beside her" if Dylan didn't "shut his mouth". Dylan Adams had spoken with the TBI about having seen Holly with Zach after the abduction. His statements were the reason for Zach's arrest, and for the search of Zach's home.

Were any of the crimes prior to Holly's murder reported to LE? I can't believe this guy slipped under their radar. WTH? They were looking for sex offenders. Blows my mind.

ZA had been arrested numerous times so LE was well aware of him. Not only that, but locals from the county were talking about ZA and his buddies right after the crime happened. They actually left an online trail of conversations where they propose his guilt in her abduction as early as the day after the incident. I can't imagine how LE screwed this up....

But they have no motivation to target her. They supposedly didn't know her and had no direct connection with her, and lived a fair distance away (meaning they would not have known her incidentally either). Why would they have gone to all that trouble to abduct someone miles away that they didn't know for no apparent reason?

If they were targeting anyone, it was someone else and involves a connection that person is choosing not to share.

The coon hunt. One of these guys - I THINK the one that committed suicide was at the coon hunt and hollies friend said he was watching holly and the friend.

Holly did not sing at the coon hunt but she sang at other local events. Her mother taught one of the brothers in elementary school. These are small country towns, right? Pretty blonds get noticed. I don't think people in some parts of the country realize how small small towns are. I have not followed the case very closely, so maybe I'm wrong about it being a small town?

I have to defend the poor brother. I know my son wouldn't REALLY think that someone was abdycting his duster at 730 in the morning. You kind of freeze up in situations like that and think "nah...it's just drew".

There was a man what looked be like snooping around my yard just after I read an article about people pretending to be cable guys then breaking into homes. But I still thought, no way. This guy isn't going to break in at 1144 in the morning! It turned out to be the meter reader, but my natural reaction was nah it's nothing scary or criminal. There's something about daylight that makes you feel safe.

It has been a very long 4+ years since Holly Bobo's abduction on 04/13/2011 for those of us who have been here since day one. The many, many Holly Bobo threads have been analogous to a never ending roller coaster ride with many twists, turns, ups, downs, and even a derail or two along the way..
:rollercoaster:

The question you asked about someone kneeling in the garage/carport was/is very controversial and could take several pages or more in an attempt to explain. Imo, It turns out that Holly and the abductor; likely ZA, were the ones kneeling immediately after the initial violent attack to gain her full compliance.. Gaining immediate and full compliance of the unsuspecting innocent victim is the 1st rule of a sexual predator and or serial murderer..

In the early days of the case, I think everyone had some doubts about Clint. But I was wrong.

It is certainly tough to imagine what Clint felt that April morning. He was awakened from sleep and wasn't sure what Holly might have had planned. It was reported that Clint knew Drew had been intending to hunt that morning, so looking out into the carport area and seeing Holly kneeled down exchanging comments with someone in camo attire would automatically make Clint's mind go to Drew.

Looking back, its easy to be critical of him...but be honest, none of us could imagine something so bizarre going on at the Bobo home. They were normal, every day, small community people like many of us.

LE had a quick start to finding Holly, since Drew called his mom (what great thinking he had in doing that) and 911 was alerted so fast. But even so, authorities were not able to work quickly enough to find Holly...and I believe there is much that should have been done that they did not do. I find it unimaginable that one of the men involved, or simply aware, of Holly's abduction did not find the moral fiber to call in with a tip. What a sad commentary....because I think Holly was kept alive for a time after her abduction (was it a day...or two? We just don't know) and a simple tip called in to 911 could have saved her.

By the way, what are the odds that Dylan Adams mentioned a video of Holly's assault during interviews with LE (information that was NOT released to the public until much later)...and then a woman in the community coming forward reports she has seen a copy of such a video, which was in the hands of a man she knew? Very ironic if the video does not exist. I believe there was indeed a video.

I never believed Clint was involved in his sister's disappearance. What Clint thought he saw that morning is perfectly understandable. Human beings try to make rational sense of the things they are seeing. He really did believe it was Holly's boyfriend who would have been in camo that day since Clint knew he was going hunting. I couldn't ever find anything that supported his involvement.

I think he truly loves his younger sister and regrets to this day that he mistakenly thought the guy in camo was Drew.

I think LE kept up with the talk on Topix but knew talk doesn't equal solid evidence.

I always felt it would be someone else who lived in the same general area who had seen Holly out and about at times.

imo

Oceanblueeyes, include me on the list of those that never suspected that Clint was involved in Holly's abduction. Imo, he was an innocent victim of miscommunication by ms media and law enforcement PIOs..

I think for me, the questioning of Clint was not long standing. It was just a brief time when I felt something didn't seem right with him. This case has been so troublesome from the very first moment....after all, how many headlines scream, "Home Invasion!"
Lo and behold, there was no home invasion. So much of what we had to go on were just rumors and bits and pieces of misreporting. And I questioned how much of what we were hearing from Clint was misinformation and how much was true.

Over the course of the first 6 months, I questioned everyone and anyone. Desperation at work....
