I have wanted those 911 calls from the beginning and we could never understand why LE wouldn't release them. We still don't know exactly who made the calls...or the timeline of when they came in. That would help us a lot.

I think Clint was in a deep sleep when Holly walked out to her car and was startled by ZA or an associate of his with a knife. She dropped her soft drink can and perhaps her books. She screamed loudly, causing the dog to bark and awaken Clint. Holly steps back a bit, perhaps this moment is when she bleed some...either nicked by the knife or her lip cut on the can..and her abductor kneeled down also. As Clint got up and heard the barking, he looked out and saw Holly and the man leaning down. The abductor was telling her that he was taking her...maybe she argued some. I can see the abductor asking her, "Is anyone else here?," and Holly answering, "No, why?," in an effort to protect her brother.
She probably argued and resisted somewhat at first...but maybe through shock or as has been said, fear for her life, she walked along with this camo man to the woods. I would love to know their path. Was it through the woods on the ATV and to the other side to an awaiting vehicle? If so, ZA had help (and I believe he did). A truck with a trailer and a driver awaits...they simply toss Holly in the back and load the ATV and off they go. Without quick roadblocks, they are home free. OR they walked along the edge of the woods to an awaiting vehicle on the road in front of Holly's home. Either way, without road blocks, they were well on their way before the neighbor arrived to speak with Clint.

This is my scenario. And while I do think ZA was fascinated with Holly, I don't believe he was sexually driven per se. No, he was violently driven. I said from the start that this person feels Holly has rejected him...or overlooked him....and is angry. This fits ZA's track record. He is driven by hostilities and violence. No one will overlook him...and so its pay back that is the driving force in his kidnapping and murder of Holly.

I agree with this scenario. I have thought that was the best explanation. It would be understandable to drop to your knees if you were frightened and cut.

I'm going to assume that both Holly and ZA were there. Furthermore, I'm going to assume that Karen might have been there, too, and that information is being kept quiet (for whatever purposes).

If Karen had noticed ZA stalking her daughter, perhaps she did go up to ZA and say, "Zack, I'm Mrs. Bobo your fourth grade teacher. The girl you are talking to is my daughter, and you're making her uncomfortable. Please leave her be."

At some point during the evening, maybe he told Holly he would pay her a little visit sometime. Because now he knows who she is and where she lives... Maybe that's why Karen flipped out when she heard what was happening. But the information wasn't shared with Clint.

The only source that I have seen mention Holly and Karen at the Coonhunt was in the interview with Danielle. Even on the Parsons Topix page which has 155,000 posts spanning 3 years, I found no mention of it other than the DD interview. Some have said that Karen was not there, and they may have been talking about a previous year.

I think the term "knew" is subjective. There is a family that has lived in my neighborhood for 60 years or more. They parents raised kids who have had kids and so forth. The family is ill reputed and most have stayed in this neighborhood.

I have met exactly 2 of this large extended family in my neighborhood. Those two I met briefly on two occasions.

Do I know the folks I met? Not as far as I would describe it. I have met them. I do not know them or travel in the same circles.

But if asked if I know the Joneses (not their actual name) I would probably say I know OF them. I would not say that I "know" any of them even though I have MET two of them.

Assuming they didn't find poor Holly's remains, I'm curious about what they did find that makes them confident they can make a murder charge stick.

I'm also plenty curious about what happened to break this open. They were obviously stuck until just recently and something changed that. The theory someone posted about JA flipping on him after finding God in jail seems like a good possibility.

If ZA was #2 on the suspect list, who in the heck was #1? Hannibal Lector? Assuming, of course that they were in order of probability.

I also wonder just how much screaming there was that morning. You would think seeing the town standing in back of your house, for no reason at all, trying to take you into the woods would motivate you to really scream your head off and put up the fight of your life. But then I remind myself that he told one woman he would gut her so Lord knows what he told poor Holly. And she might have gone with him, hoping to buy time, the same mistake so many victims make.

Gwyn said they weren't finished, so there must be other suspects they are looking at. I wonder what final piece of evidence they need to arrest them.

My last question is this: my personal belief is that LE hold press conferences to1) let the public know they did a good job, 2) address some event that gives them no choice or 3) send a message to someone and they need the press to help deliver that message. With what Gwyn said about other people needing to take the chance to speak up, I would say his press conference was a combo of #1 and #3. I wonder who they were sending that message to.

I seem to recall that BB was working out of town at the time. If you follow the connections on FB, though, you'll notice that BB did, in fact, know several people mentioned in msm reports (and internet rumor). So, IF Holly had any connection to ZA, BB is a possible source, imo.

I do not have a link on the county job or vehicle. Before the story broke, people in the community were gripping about wanting a job and it being given to Zach, a felon, while good people were trying to find work. ZA's grandfather works for the county as the top guy for the utilities for both Decatur and Benton county and that can be found on the Decatur website.

And also I see that the family lives on Adams Lane - to have a street named after you you usually have to have roots going back to the Civil War (I would think). I come from a very old colonial town in the Northeast, and all our streets are named after townspeople from the Revolutionary war.

Ok, I don't think this is sleuthing the family since it is a public post by someone on relatives from many generations ago.

If you're an Adams in middle Tennessee, you're most likely descended from John Adams and Susannah Wood and Patrick Boyd (1710-1762) and Rachel Grissom.

It bugs me to hear ZA's mom defending him. Sorry, going to the ends of earth to defend your kid is not good parenting, it's called enabling. I understand it with drug addiction, as I have addicts in my own family, but I hate when parents make up excuse after excuse for their kid turning into a violent person who intentionally harms others. Sorry, but you can't claim addiction or "hanging out with a bad crowd" at that point. Admit that you sucked as a parent, and raised a bad person. I actually sort of respect Adam Lanza's father for coming forward and admitting that yeah, my son was a horrible person. I wish people would just say, yup, he did this, he's going to pay the consequences, and I obviously sucked as a parent, otherwise I wouldn't have raised a murderer. If your kid rapes and/or murders someone, you should be ashamed, and should want them to face the consequences like you would want if another person killed him. There's this whole thing in our culture where, just because you have the biology to have a kid, means you're automatically a good parent, and just because you love them, that makes you a good parent. Sorry, but that's BS. Parenting is a job, an extremely difficult job, but a job nonetheless. Some people need to think long and hard before they have a kid. Probably is, not enough people are thinking first and planning out kids or whether or not they would even be a good parent. Not everyone is made to parent. Anyway, sorry for the O/T rant, I just hate when parents enable their kids to become (alleged) murderers.

FC, it sounds like Zach was saying that his grandfather was choking him instead of the other way around...but it also says that Zach was the one arrested for domestic violence and drug stuff...so we can pretty much know who was the aggressor in this incident.

Imo, a more relevant comparison of Holly Bobo's abduction/murder would be that of Tullahoma, TN nursing student Megan Sharpton's in 07/2012; 'Both were Meth related, as are many, if not most stranger/slight acquaintance abductions/murders by sexual predators, imo'...

MS's kidnapper/murderer Donnie F Jones's 23 prior convictions.

The following charge would indicate a meth lab connection, imo.. There is also several burglaries and aggravated burglary convictions in DJ's past..

Sounds just about right. This kid had been in enough trouble by that point in his life to try and manipulate the system by trying a "reverse" 911 call. Blame the victim to create confusion when the cops showed up.
