I cant wait to hear how the cops had enough to charge this guy and what his reasoning was to take Holly and ruin lifes. This was so senseless. I hope the family can find a way to be at peace.

We have learned to be patient when cases like this comes along. It sure is hard to do though. It seems like it takes forever for a case to come to trial and the facts to be known. Nothing will be divulged in the status hearings but mundane stuff like setting up additional hearings and eventually discussing when discovery will be turned over.

That is why I wish once ZA gets the attorneys for sure that are going to be his defense team they would ask for a bond hearing. That is the only way we would be able to learn anything about what the DA has against ZA and even then it wouldn't be the really important evidence but enough to argue to the Judge why he thinks ZA should remain in jail without bond.

We will see if the defense brings up a bond hearing request during the next status hearing in April. I don't even know if bond is allowed in TN in a capital case. It may not be and all capital defendants may remain behind bars until their trial.

I think the reason he kidnapped Holly is as old as time. He took her so he could have her way with her.:(

I haven't come across any trial so far where the victims photo was not shown or allowed to be shown.

I hope it changes for Holly and all other victims in TN.

I can remember some where alive photos of the victim weren't shown.

Even our very own poster, gnsndr33, said they did not show alive photos of her best friend and her little son who were both murdered.

Background on me: I grew up on a large family farm, married a farmer, and work at a farm equipment dealership. (remember: not all farms are just animals, lots of other work happens on the farm--excavator work is one of those fun chores)

In the industry, that is considered a mini excavator, or compact excavator. That's a Bobcat brand in the photo. I will not speculate on the model# since that is not a brand I'm familiar with or that we sell at our dealership.

These size excavators are used a lot in the building of homes, or other construction when their size is of importance. A lot of these size excavators have "zero tail spin", meaning when the user spins the unit around to use the boom, the cab of the unit will not exit the floorplan of the tracks themselves. Although I don't think that would be important in Holly's case, I think it was just what they had available. Along with the fact that they didn't need something too big because: 1) the ground was wet, iirc 2) you don't know what else you may disturb & 3) the compact size made it easy to get in & out of the area.

HTH a little :)

Same difference. Thanks and appreciate your experience. In construction/destruction too.

I learned years ago as a buyer/purchasing agent for building/construction, every product has at least three names depending on where you come from. Here's a link describing it & calling it both what I called it and you called it from sight at first glance. Terribly sad what it was used for though.

Thanks. Do you have a link to a full article of where he said this, so we can read more?

The Decatur County Grand Jury handed down indictment of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and First Degree Felony Murder on Zachary Rye Adams.

Other arrests in connection with the case have been made, and the persons are currently in custody in several counties.
Inmates are listed on vinelink.

HS has positively identified ZA as being the man who tried to abduct her from her driveway, three months before Holly was abducted.

The information comes from a culmination of pressers, news, and personal knowledge.

The longer this plays out without something definitive being said about her remains, the more I'm inclined to believe that "remains" of some sort were NOT found.

What I base that on is are the glaring "acts of omission" that have already occurred and are ongoing, if they actually found some or any of her remains. If they had her remains as the method of showing death, it is customary for the family to hold a funeral or memorial service of some kind, to lay her to rest, so to speak.

Her remains would not be in custody of LE. When a person is murdered, LE does an autopsy or whatever, takes samples for further testing, and then those mortal remains are returned to the family. When there are any, that is.

However, unless I've missed it, nothing like that has occurred. No funeral, no memorial service, no obituary, nothing by the family to signal a closure to her life. So my belief is that LE has evidence of a murder and of her being killed, and the family has accepted it as true, but there have been no remains found that would compel them to the point of public announcements and a display of closure to her life. Has there been a death certificate filed with the county? I'd wager there hasn't, and that it will take a court verdict to declare her dead - and dead by being murdered.
Where are the searches? They have charged a man with her murder and there is no doubt they would prefer to have a body when it comes to trial. The family deserves to have her home and LE would feel they did not go far enough if they didn't continue to search in order to give the family that closure.

Unless they know her body is unrecoverable due to a witness statement or other proof. Unless they have found her remains. Unless they what? Gave up searching? Why?

Has anyone run across any confirmed info on the JA parole hearing that was supposed to take place today? I sure haven't.

"Other arrests..." If this was from pressers or news, please post the link.

Hi Karen Anne,
Good to see you here again. Are you sure the arrests you're referring to have to do with the Holly 's case and not drug related? I haven't heard or read anything in MSM that other arrests were made in Holly's case. Will Nunley didn't tweet anything about it either.

They don't necessarily have to have a body when it comes to trial but I agree that many questions are still lingering as to what they found to absolutely prove Holly is deceased. I realize the family has accepted it so they must have been given proof but yet I'm surprised that no memorial or obituary has been revealed yet.

Maybe we'll get more info in the coming days. Hoping.

My question was if it's illegal in TN based on the constitution, why do other states allow it.

What is a status hearing? Will the divulge when the case goes to trial? His defence team?

Thank you, ~n/t~ I thought I would stop in since major changes are taking place now.
This is from personal knowledge.
Gwyn said that in a few weeks they would release information about the case. That would make it about the end of this month. It will clear up a lot of confusion about the case.

Even if LE had given up searching for Holly's remains the Bobo family never would give up searching for their daughter if her remains has not been found.

I have heard of no further searches leading me to believe TBI found her remains (some or all) when they did the three day search of his property and quickly charged him afterwards.

imo

I assume it is too soon to even imagine when the trial will be, especially if further arrests and/or charges are possible. Even as-is, I can't see any trial starting anytime soon (like in 2014). If ZA waives his right to a speedy trial things can drag on for a while before it hits the docket.

I posted a link earlier. It took 3 years for a murder case to go to trial. The trial lasted 2 weeks. Holly's being a high profile case, I agree. It won't be anytime soon.

I'll be here as long as it takes. :jail:

Here is a link to a newspaper The Camden Chronicle, Camden, TN 38320, Thursday, November 1, 2012...

ftp://ftpro.ddti.net/BentonTN/Camden Chronicle - November 1, 2012.pdf

takes awhile for it to load but here we go:

GRAND JURY:

Zachary Rye Adams, theft of
property, criminal trespass
• Jason Wayne Autry, theft of
property, criminal trespass

This is after his escape..I have no idea how many charges JA has against him for his sentence, but I keep finding bits and pieces..

26 felonies according to Bill Warner

I knew I read he had a lot of charges and I am wondering about the rest he said as well.
I keep reading about him having a "Spiritual" Experience and there was suppose to be a write up in a paper about it, but I have yet to find it.
If he was involved, I don't see him getting out of prison, but you never know what kind of deals are made behind closed doors...

HOWEVER It's My own opinion that he may have been the link, but with what seems to be so many in a click of friends... it could have been anyone who spoke up.
