Autry has no bond, as he is currently being held in State custody. This is being evaluated as a DEATH PENALTY case too.

but I can't help wondering about the situation in which these witnesses saw Holly with ZA and JWA...

Were Holly, ZA and JWA at ZA's house in a "comfortable setting"...?

And...what condition was Holly in?

All I can say is these two would make lousy poker players. The look on each one of their faces told it all.IMO

I have not followed Holly's case as closely as all of you but I hope I can jump in and say that from the TBI presser I felt there could be pics of the crime instead of a video and that is why they smiled and said "no".

Another note of interest, the case wasn't considered a kidnapping at the beginning. LE ruled it a home invasion....

Just some things that make me ponder. The "no why" comment definitely is another hmmmmm

I wonder how close JA was to Holly and her family. I'm reading mixed reports. Some say second cousin, others say he was a distant cousin on her dad's side.

It makes me sick to my stomach thinking he was involved. Regardless of who he was, he was related in some way. How could he?

Last night reading here is the last thing I did before I fell asleep, and so I guess my brain continued tot think about it while I slept. I noticed that in the agreement with SA a paragraph referencing controlled substances, and in parenthesis it said "not to include drugs administered to Holly Lynn Bobo". Maybe their goal was to get her hooked on drugs, as a sick, twisted way to get revenge in someone in the Bobo family and they accidentally caused her to OD? Maybe someone had tried to get employed by her father, and he said no bc they were a junkie? I may be way off here, but I hope maybe I am right, because maybe it would mean that things were not quite as awful for Holly, or if they were maybe she wasn't aware as she would have been if she wasn't drugged. Sorry to ramble and add on to the infinite possibilities, just what my mind was heavy with this morning.

Ready to see what happens today. Not expecting much, but I wasn't expecting anything yesterday so who knows! What time does everything start today?

These crimes are about power, not how attractive the perp finds a victim...

That isn't necessarily true. The power extends to being able to choose which prey they want to control and brutalize.

That is why often very attractive young females like Holly are targeted. If it really was true that the attractiveness of the victim played no part then we wouldn't see countless pretty young females who have been kidnapped/raped and murdered. Almost all of them were very pretty females like Holly.

So I respectfully disagree with you.

And it isn't all about power it always has a sexual lust component to it.

There are other ways a perp can gain power over someone. But when they are targeted for sexual purposes there is always a sexual element to it as well as the control factor. That is why the perp or perps are able to complete the acts of rapes repeatedly on the victim.

I do believe they injected her with meth but I do not think it had anything to do with her family. This brutalization of a defenseless woman has nothing to do with revenge against any family member but more about homegrown thugs brutalizing a vulnerable young woman because they knew they could once they had kidnapped her. IMO

They would inject her with meth for two reasons imo. One, to make her more compliant. Two, to inject a young woman they knew hated the drugs they injected her with and would never do them if she had had a choice. They took all of Holly's life choices away from her and invoked their own.

I truly believe that Holly went through hell on earth for days and was tortured, injected with meth, raped repeatedly, and beaten unmercifully.

I don't think the drugs killed Holly. I think they eventually became bored with their snared prey and shot her.

yes. That is Autry.....and I guess we all knew this would be coming down....not sure why it took so long. Perhaps JA immediately went into repentance mode (more than likely to reduce his sentence/plea bargain) after being arrested back in November? One thing is for sure, this county needs to open their eyes to what is going on with the TBI and LE....something is amiss, and I am sure if someone followed the money, they'd find out what's going on.....

I think we should be very careful about accusing LE of being corrupt. Just because something takes a long time doesn't mean someone is on the take. I live in TN and I know my home state is not immune to corruption but real life is complicated. The Marsha Trimble case took 33 years to solve.

If you recall, the Sheriff actually asked the TBI to come in on Holly's case. I don't think he would have done that if he had anything to hide related to this case. And, although many people have spoken very harshly about the TBI's refusal to tell everything they know, I firmly believe Mark Gwynn has done the very best he could on a difficult case down there. When you have a conspiracy of silence, and little to no physical evidence, the only way to solve the case is to keep plodding along and wait for someone's conscience to get to them.

I am a research scientist by trade, and I think in these situations I struggle because I want to make sense of things, at least as much as possible. It's hard for me to accept the senseless and random brutality of some of these crimes, even though it's so often the case.

The more I think about it I do think they do have the video. In fact since we know for certain Holly's body has not been found, I have since wondered what it would take to convince the entire Bobo family beyond all doubt that Holly is now deceased. And now I think this is it.

I don't think LE showed them the video, but I do think they took still shots from the video, and one still photo shows Holly lying there dead, and most likely shot in the head.

I think this was most likely done from someone's cell phone. Cant some smart phones also take videos along with still shots?
