Holly Bobo, missing from TN 2014 discussion #5 ***ARRESTS***

• February 28, 2014: A search warrant was executed at Zachary Adams' home in Decatur County. Zach Adams has a long history of arrests.
• March 2, 2014: Search continues at Adams' house in connection with Bobo case.

March 5, 2014: The TBI announces during a news conference that a special session of the Decatur County Grand Jury indicted Zach Adams on felony first degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping charges in Bobo's case.

• May 29, 2014: Half-brothers Jeffrey and Mark Pearcy are charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact. TBI investigators believe they have knowledge of a video containing images of Bobo alive after her abduction. A judge also denies to issue a gag order in the Holly Bobo case.

  A spokesperson for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says the agency has seized several phones including Pearcy's and is currently waiting for an access code from Apple to get access to his phone. They have not seen the video just yet but believe it's on one of the phones they confiscated.

:sigh:Given this was likely a brutal crime,I am frustrated that it took from Feb 28 until just recently (3rd search of his property)to examine the flooring/interior and bedding/contents of person of interest/suspect Zack's home?

OK,then there is the Pearsy's. It was reported on July 29 ,"TBI were only awaiting access codes on Pearcy's confiscated phones". We do not know what if any evidence were on the phones but even prior to that, there was 'talk' of a likely brutal crime scene.(I am being vague on purpose,it has been discussed ad nauseam )I do not think it is too much of a 'leap' using our deductive skills to have pursued a warrant back in that time frame for a top down search of Zack's home at the time of Holly's kidnapping.
Perhaps it is time I take a break. I am a detail person and that is why I am so frustrated.MOO

If TBI has all of these men separated in different jails and just one of them gives them some type of information, then TBI's ability to get them all talking is magnified. Especially now that Holly's remains have been found. They have them. I am pretty sure they have these guys and can use the threat of the death penalty to get them to sing against each other. And I think that is what's happening....

So it may have been the mattress they cut away that was rolled up instead of carpet. Sounds like the home has hardwood floors instead of carpet.

Not likely. What was seen has the appearance of a rolled up carpet or rug, and a mattress wouldn't fit that appearance.

It's possible that it maybe could have been some sort of a thick tarp that they used to encase some something-or-other, and then rolled things up inside the tarp. In fact, the object has a lumpy appearance as if one or more items are enclosed. But on the outside, it sure looks like a carpet/rug. It sure doesn't look like a mattress to me.

"Hardwood floors" and "large area rugs" are not mutually exclusive, and in fact are a fairly common floor treatment combo. They could have rolled up and taken a large oriental or persian wool rug, for example.

SteveS I just saw your link to the picture of the 'object' being removed from Zack's house. This is the 1st look I have had of the object. On previous attempts to view the 3rd search video,it wouldn't play. I'm not sure but perhaps the website servers were too busy?

The object made me think of roofers felt. I looked up the installation of hard-wood floors and read,"Adding a layer of roofers felt acts as a vapor barrier & isolates the wood layers and helps to minimize squeaking wood to wood."

Do you think the roll carried out of Zack's house was roofers felt which was used between the subfloor and hardwood? Perhaps that is going along with other items for forensic analysis. MOO

John "Dylan" Adams walked into the courthouse just before his 9 a.m. scheduled appearance. During the hearing, Adams told the judge he cannot afford an attorney, so he was appointed one by the court.

He has been held without bond since his arrest last Wednesday night on a charge of tampering with evidence.

The attorney representing Adams on Monday asked for a bond hearing and waived the typical waiting period for a preliminary hearing.

The judge set the next hearing for October 22 at 1 p.m.

"Mr. Adams, you've been charged with fabricating or tampering with evidence. Do you understand the nature of these charges?" Wood asked.

"Yes, sir." Adams said.

Wood asked Adams if Adams or his family were able to hire an attorney, and Adams said no.

In a post of mine further down I have changed my opinion about what is wrapped up and taken out by the TBI.

I am now convinced it is the hardwood planks (boards) that were taken from the home. If one looks closely they can even see the ridge detail. Each hardwood plank is probably 4-6 inches wide and can come in 8-10-12 feet lengths. Imo, it looks to be about 8-10 full size boards or more. OR maybe enough to cover the entire area where ZAs bed was located and a few feet out all the way around.

I think they took it to see if blood had dripped down into the seams. Often even if something is tried to be cleaned they will not be able to remove4 all the blood that gets trapped down in the seams or crevices. Also if the hardwood has age on it then some of the sealer may not be on it any longer and dried out wood easily soaks up liquids.

Or they found what seems to be a bullet hole going through the floor in that area. If Holly was on ZAs bed when murdered the bullet could have gone in her skull and then caused an exit wound with the bullet passing through and striking the floor underneath the bed.

As far as taking part of the mattress they most likely saw what appeared to be blood staining or staining of some type of bodily fluid or maybe small fibers. It seems they just cut out the part they needed and left the rest.

Imo, the main crime scene in the home is going to be in the bedroom where ZA slept.

Dylan sure isn't in any hurry to get a bond amount set.

When ZAs appears in court he looks arrogant and cocky.

Imo, Dylan looks sad, resigned, and fearful.

There is no air of cockiness about him.
