A day home from school turned into a dramatic scene for an Oklahoma boy. The boy was home alone when someone broke into his house. Then, he made a call to 911 while the robber was still in the house.

A 10 yr old shouldn't be home alone.I hope they catch the thief,guess they should say their blessings the boy wasn't hurt.

I heard the live 911 call on our local OK news. The 911 officer mentioned shutting and locking the bathroom door, to which the boy replied "there ain't one!"

Brave child, extremely LUCKY! Hope they catch the creep that broke in.

What a brave young man! So glad it turned out ok!

I know...it sounds crazy to leave a 10 year old home alone, but I used to be home alone at that age,too.
In fact, I used to babysit at that age!!
Can you imagine?
DD is 9 now...I would never leave her alone at 10...
(Honestly,I'd probably be concerned about leaving her alone at
13/14 etc. She's a very pretty girl, and there are
too many weirdos out there.)
