I can't believe anyone would have the nerve to not only kill someone, but then to put their body through a meat grinder..

People do it to animals every day. If you tell yourself it's just meat, and you're fine with killing humans, maybe it's something you're fine with, IDK. The cooking bothers me more, because that's kind of implying that they were going to use her for food.

Good point, any idea how the police got tipped off about the house in the first place?? Was it just a standard search of the house where the victim lived thing or did a witness report it?? Because I can't find who reported her missing, the family couldn't have because of them doing it so who reported her ???

This article from The Independent says that Abby was reported missing on the day - 21st Feb - her ex-brother-in-law (driver) took her to pick up one of her children. She didn't get to pick up the child.
Abby had two children with her ex-husband (the eldest being 10 years old) and two children with her current defacto husband.

Instead, the ex-brother-in-law stopped the car near the entrance to the Lion Rock Tunnel, and Abby's ex-husband got into the vehicle. Abby's skull had a massive hole in the back of it, the police think that was the death blow.

Abby's ex-father-in-law's mistress rented the apartment where Abby was dismembered weeks prior to this. Two bedrooms had been totally cleared, and seem to have been used for the dismemberment. Premeditated crime.
All due to the fact that Abby had bought a house for her ex-in-laws to live in, had paid it off, and wanted to sell it (and provide them with somewhere else to live). They didn't want that.

The police had to track down what happened via surveillance cameras and investigation, because (of course) all the ex-in-laws did was lie to them.

There is a theory that they cooked the remains to destroy DNA.. Except that boiling in water doesn't really do that.

The ex-father-in-law was a cop, but he quit in the 2000s after allegations of rape. Perhaps did not receive enough training in this area. (Yuck)

Another shocking aspect I think is, how can a whole family (including the mistress) be so united in depravity. They are a murdering team, and so far none of them is turning against the others.

Major update as murdered model's DNA found in suspect's blood-stained car

Today, the court heard that the bloodstains found within Kwong's brother's car belonged to the model, as well as the human skull and legs found in the Tai Po village house.

The prosecutors have also asked for more time to fully investigate over 30 items including electric saws and knives that were found at the home of horrors.

The accused will appear in court again on July 31.
