Joseph Scott Morgan did do a podcast edition on 16 October 2025 titled "OVER 50 Bodies Pulled From Houston Bayous! Serial Killer at Work?" It was a great episode.

Just curious what anyone else here thinks is going on?

There are a lot of unidentified remains cases related to Houston Bayous as well (that I think disprove the possible serial killer angle). I'll find them all in NamUs and make a list later.

... since 2017, 189 dead bodies have been found in the Texas city's swampy waters according to Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office records obtained by KPRC 2.

Of these deaths, 17 were classified as murders with 75 deaths marked as 'unexplained'.

'That's definitely worthy of further investigation,' Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and criminal justice professor at Penn State Lehigh Valley, told the Daily Mail.

If only I had the time to really do the research, I am sure there is "something" to all the unexplained deaths. I was born in Houston. It is a massive city now. I do think that this is a criminal problem on many levels. Houston has so many places to hide and lurk and kill. The police are overwhelmed, I'm sure. Just my 2 cents.

Yes as a native houstonian, these deaths are intriguing to say the least. To my knowledge there hasn't been this many before. It seems all are different, no specific pattern of individual also alot of undetermined cases. The mayor states no serial killer but at this point these deaths are beyond coincidence and all options should be on the table..

Are any of you in Houston still following this? This is on social media now.

Up to 33 people -- what do you think? Has this always been an unfortunate reality? Is the problem getting worse?

Article from December 22, 2025:

ETA: The article does say last year there were 35 people recovered from bayous, so maybe it is stable. But 35 was the highest number recorded for a year...
For those who are murder victims, I hope their cases are solved and they receive justice.

Yep, im still following, as a native houstonian. I think there is some killing going on, I know some have drowned at times but this number of bodies its not a coincidence
