If the 'familar place' was the school, standing in front of it, Caylee was found to the left, on the bottom side of Suburban Rd.

Far more of an outrage here than Hoover trying to sell the tape, is the fact that neither Conway, nor this poor murdered baby's grandparents through him, express so much as a suggestion of concern for the way Dominic Casey, their PI, ravaged like an animal, digging, prodding, and ripping with a knife, where this baby's remains were likely to have been thrown, at great risk of further desecrating this precious baby's already desecrated body.

I will not allow smooth talkin' Brad Conway try to distract me from the outrage of what his PI, Dominic Casey did in this, 'his' video. I am not stupid. I am not blind. I am a thinking, caring person.

I voted JB. I am going to guess that JB told DC where to look for Caylee's body because Casey told JB. Alternately if Casey told one of the family members like CA, GA, or LA, then that could be an alternate explanation. Maybe Casey said something when she was out on bail to one of them? Casey seems to be the closest to LA so that would be my guess as to who she would tell if she would tell anyone outside of her lawyer JB.

Agree completely that these are the more important questions. But the main question for Conway is Who was giving THEIR PI the info about what to look for? If they had of done the right thing to start with the other PI would not have had to stolen the tape to have all this come out.

Of course they love Geraldo. He's on their side and don't think for one second the Anthony's aren't making a hefty defense fund out of him.

I'll just throw this in here for thought. KC dumped the bag, most of us agree. There is no evidence of the bag ever being buried. So if KC gave info to DC or JB, why the probes and shovel? Surely she didn't tell them it was buried. If she did give them info, it seems that she wasn't very specific, which leads me to believe another source.

This thought makes a lot of sense to me and jives with what I posted last eve in the PI thread.
But I'm not secure enough in my theory to actually vote in this thread!:waitasec: Gosh, it gets confusing.

IMO the bag could definitely have been buried. The "soil" in Florida is mostly sand which has very little cohesive properties unlike, say, clay. If the bag had been buried, the water in that area, especially the driving rains of the Tropical storm, could easily have dislodged and moved it. If there was a drainage pipe nearby (I think I read there was) that would create a funnel effect that would channel the water with even more force than in just a natural environment.

IF the information came from the A's (I'm not convinced it did), I'd guess LA too. I definitely don't think it came from JB. He has everything to lose if he meddled with evidence.

BUT, what would ANY party gain by getting someone out there to find/look for the body? Possibly to move it... is that what some are thinking? And if he found it, he would have moved it?

Back to thread topic. Here's my theory
1. Meter reader saw something that made him suspicious in August (or perhaps he was the one that noticed her car at that spot in June and decided to go take a look).
2. he went there in August and either found the body in bag OR just saw things that did look suspicious. he called LE for 3 days and they either didn't come or didn't go all the way in cause they're afraid of snakes.
3. Meter reader feels something is there but doesn't want to get too involved as we could hear on 911 calls he was very hesititant to get very involved and call crimeline. Now we understand as he used to be a bondsman and bounty hunter and he knows how things work AND he's all too aware of his prior charge of kidnapping looking REALLY bad if he happens to find a body of a supposedly kidnapped kid. He's in between a rock and a hard place now, decides to wait and see if anything comes out on it's own.
4. By Nov. it's obvious nothings happening and the water has receded so he goes back. It's at this point that I think he found the body and a plan has been brewing for awhile. He's well aware of the PI D. Casey from tv exposure etc and has decided to call him with the info, which he hopes will keep him out of the picture and yet accomplish the purpose. He's the one on the phone to the PI trying to direct to the exact spot and giving him the info.

OK, That's my theory, so I'm anxious to hear arguments to disprove. I really hope I'm wrong and that casey is the one who told someone so we have another nail in her coffin.

Sounds good. I always thought either he was simply searching logical areas (A's neighborhood, areas near the school as suggested by KMT to LE, etc). Or, the meter reader became puzzled when he never heard an announcement by LE of the remains being found, so he contacted the A's PI, or the A's PI became aware of the meter reader's tips eventually one way or another, it might have been released in the tips they got released to them, and went to check them out. In the one scene it looks like the exact spot Gale St. John, Travis, and Colleen (?) had shown in their video, maybe the PI saw it online? When did they put that online? Has it been said what that building is the PI is digging next to in the one scene?

I'm not quite sold on him. This case went national in mid-July. The white Pontiac was all over the tube, Casey's mug, missing child. If he saw something in June, I think he would have called much sooner with an "I saw a white Pontiac like parked here on such and such a date." He's got nothing to lose at this point.

Now that's thinking out of the box, BMW! I had tossed the idea about that Dc had somehow gotten the information from RK too... just through conversation/rumor that got back to DC. But if so... why would RK continue to watch DC get thrown under the bus? That's pretty cruel. He needs to make some sort of statement, through his attorney.

I am thinking that maybe the meter reader called in a tip to the Anthony's or to P.I. D. Casey. He had already called 3 days in a row in August to the proper authorities. We find out now that the meter reader was in the area in November, IIRC, through one of the news sites. Maybe that prompted the P.I. search. It really would not surprise me to finally hear that P.I. D. Casey was on the phone with the meter reader while this search was being conducted.

I agree with the poster who pointed out George's behavior on the LK show the night before the body was found. I just thought George and Cindy acted differently than how I had seen them act in the past. George seemed almost sick. I think he and Cindy knew where Caylee's body was and that she would be found while they were still out of town.

I smell a big coverup. It is just my thinking only, but I think the meter reader was in contact with either the Anthony's or P.I. D. Casey, or maybe both.

Also, when Casey was out on bail in August, she had every opportunity to talk privately with Lee. Lee drove Casey to meet with her case worker (not the right word, but on that order) on the day they were caught in a pic doing that high 5. There was also private time with George when he drove her to Baez office, and also with Cindy when she drove her.

I think D. Casey really WAS looking for a black garbage bag. I also wonder WHY D. Casey, J. Hoover, and even the meter reader did not see all of the scattered bones that were found in the area. NO ONE saw the bones that were scattered with some of them VERY close to the road??? I would really like to see all 3 take a polygraph.

I was thinking the same thing. That may have been who was on the phone to him trying to tell him where to look.
The thing that doesn't fit is, Hoover said that PI Casey told him he knew where she was. Hoover could be lying though.

Just had a weird thought - what if someone proposes their theory and it ends up being spot on! All of a sudden you're like the meter reader, SUSPECT.

Not a weird thought, Woe.be.gone. It could happen. However, I believe LE reads here. There are just too many sharp people posting here for LE to ignore. You never know where you might find a clue or a light bulb moment.

It makes more sense to me that RK may have spoken about his suspicions, 911 calls etc. to family and friends, and it filtered around as rumor, then ol' DC got wind of it. If RK was the guy on the phone with DC, he needs to make a statement to that effect now, because there's too much speculation that the A's were on the phone with him. Speculation not just on this board, but in the media as well.
