I'm agreeing with Boston, for the most part. I "like" the A's in so many ways, for so many things. In this case, I can just see CA on the cell phone telling PI Casey where to look and exactly what to do, then making him go back to the site again and again and again. mho.

I am thinking DC either
1) while working for Baez and team~denial decided Casey was guilty and Caylee most likely dead and thought the best way to find out more was to move to the Anthony camp and out from under thumb baez. Once at camp Anthony he had convos with LA who could have been the conduit of info flow from Casey.

or

2) while working for Baez, is instructed to leave the defense team and volunteer at the A team to dig more and investigate something Casey had shared with her lawyer....(location and x marks the spot to the dump site) to rule out as a lie or a truth.... as if DC were to find the remains while under the employ of the defense team would not quite ring true to their Caylee is alive form.

I don't know about this PI issue. My thoughts go back and forth as to who actually handed over the information to DC. If I had to guess though, I would think it originated fom LA, as in KC told LA (while she was out on bail). How it got from Lee to the PI, I don't know, but sadly I would not put it past any of them. Just my opinion.

I think either KC told Lee and he told the PI or that Baez told the PI to look there with info from KC. I do not believe the meter reader found it by accident tho. I think he also got wind of this somehow, ie, LP's daisy chain theory. I find the MR odd too. I find it odd he came back to the scene 5 months later. Had I smelled decomp and saw a bag etc I would have drug a cop to the spot myself. That whole thing makes no sense to me.

Nov 14 Dr. Lee views car...goes to Baez says "well it seems we have evidence of a dead body "...Baez goes to Casey and says...look , there is only one way to save your can and that is to make a plea...turn in the body and we'll see what deal I can get for you.
Casey tells Baez...to make sure the body is where Casey say's it is ...he calls Casey....Casey calls Hoover they find NO body...Casey thinks she is safe ,no evidence left on the bag to incriminate her...Baez says nothing K finds the body and Casey has a panic attack. That is the way I think it went.

Welcome! I'm in agreement that the info. came from LA, but I don't think he wanted anybody to find Caylee's body. With Kiomarie's statements about the hangout she & Casey had, I think the PI was directed to look over there and of course he could say he didn't find Caylee ~ because she was several hundred feet away. MOO

It was reported yesterday, I believe, that LE would not be charging either of the PI's, can't remember the source. I don't know how they can know already if there will be charges or not. It seems to me that there is something VERY wrong when two PI's have knowledge of a dead body and don't report it. I atleast hope that they will get some good testimony in return, as in who actually told them the remains were there...

IIRC, JH corrected the dates of the searches as being Nov 18th and Nov 19th.

A body is skeletal after around two or more weeks in Florida climate. So there would unlikely be any decomp smell or an intact body by the time Caylee was reported missing.

With Casey so adament about the nanny kidnapping in her interviews with LE I just can't see why she would've (months ago) confessed to anybody about killing Caylee and leaving her there in the woods by the house ~ unless ~ she was afraid she hadn't hidden the remains well enough and wanted her brother to go move Caylee. Maybe he put the rocks there instead of moving Caylee, leaving a "clue" for somebody else to find her? MOO

Thank you, the explanation DC gave for being there, KioMarie's statement about their hang out place, just doesn't make any sense, IMO.

The PI's were on the phone with someone.

The only people involved that could have possibly wanted that body found were Lee and/or George. Not Baez. Not Casey. Not Cindy.

I am remembering George's antsy behavior on LKL the day before the discovery and Lee's absence in the months before. In the released jail videos they seem to be the only two that were intent on actually finding Caylee and that really had KC's number. The look in Lee's eyes in the videos appeared skeptical and guarded when he questioned his sister. George confessed to LE he knew there had been a dead body in the trunk.

Anyway, that's my opinion...

In one jail house chat LA tells KC how to get private info to them them via Att client privilege. LA tells her she can give a letter to JB and no one can read it but them. I believe she told them sometime in early November Caylee was in the woods, but the woods are thick and neither they nor their PI could find the exact spot.

This is also about the time that they stopped coming to visit her... Which for me, speaks loudly that they came to understand KC was the killer, even though they were happy to loudly profess Caylee was alive and even say they had proof. I believe they knew this was not true, and I am hoping they get what's comming to them.

makes a lot of sense to me...especially as explanation for their not seeing her in jail.

this also might explain george suddenly changing his mind about the smell one cannot forget or mistake....to "didnt know garbage could smell that bad, Larry.
