How do you feel about the memorial service planned for Caylee?

Something about this memorial doesn't sit right with me. I wish LP would just let it be and stop interfering. I think when the A's are ready to admit that Caylee is gone, they will have a memorial for her and this will be done in their time.

I really believe that the A's are suffering and are in denial/mourning. This is really getting out of hand and like TM said, "it's turning into a circus".

I totally agree with you. Even if the family doesn't want to have one. Who in the world is LP, to make that call? Because he couphed up bail money, he calls the shots on who's deceased or not? Is he an ordained minister or something?
I feel that Caylee is deceased...BUT LP has no right to decide when "closure" is made.

I understand what you are saying, however they still had no legal rights to them.. Which could be why CA wanted custody.. They just can't take it upon themselves to take Caylee away from Casey without a court order!

During the 31 days, they obviously werent supporting her.. They thought she had a job..

And maybe what they were trying to do when they were supporting Casey is protect Caylee.. Everyone is saying that CA enabled Casey.. But yet, she had a responsibility to protect Caylee.. Maybe that's what she was doing, and not realizing it.. If she didn't support Casey, and argued with Casey or fought with her, then Casey would have taken Caylee away from CA..So maybe CA just thought she was protecting Caylee..

Maybe Caylee is being protected right now..

They didnt "let" Casey leave with her.. Casey was her mother, she could leave with her when she wanted to..They had no legal guardianship over Casey or Caylee!

Regarding them not concerned enough to find her before 31 days.. Umm, they spoke with Casey all the time, didnt think anything was wrong.. I have a child and went a month without seeing my parents.. Don't think that it's a big deal that they weren't hunting me down..

My parents have never met my babysitter.. No need too..

If you think that nothing went on in the A's home that precipitated her leaving, then I don't know what to say...except that if you think your daughter is a sociopathic liar and thief you'd might be a tad concerned about the whereabouts of the child you haven't spoken to in a month's time. Come on, now. We're talking about CA...she has no control?!

LP is not Caylee's loved one. I couldn't believe it when I heard him say he was planning a memorial service - it is so not his place.

I was talking about the death certificate being in place before a "memorial service" could be planned.

The bond was NOT posted by his nephew........it was posted by a bonding company out of Florida and LP lost his $50,000.

LP actually believed CA & KC to begin with, and that is where he was wrong. He was taken in by all the lies because the GP's continued the lie with KC.

LP didn't even bother to research the case before becoming involved and he admits that himself. He saw the media attention and came running in waving his $50k around trying to buy into it. He's gotten way more than his money's worth. People talk about how sly and smart LP is - I believe it, the man is brilliant, and it's all in his own self interest.

No they couldn't stand her, they were hoping this would happen... to get their 15 minutes..... they hating taking pictures of her, they hated having to watch her,they were getting sick and tired of the little snot nose, so they helped get rid of her !

Not really............there were the financial issues and the insurance policy.

I believe the only one who wanted the "little snot nose" (can you imagine calling your child such a name?) gone was KC.........but they did know KC and I believe they KNEW she was in danger - you know your kids, and I believe they knew KC was capable from their words about the car smell.

I don't think any parent would. Parents take grandchildren everyday in the courts to protect them. The Anthonys KNEW.

That is the worst part about this, Caylee had all those cutie things, but NO ONE to really care for her. She appeared to be nothing but a POSSESSION to ALL of them.

Those words never came out of my mouth..I never said they didn't have problems at home..

Casey was Caylee's mother.. Some might think CA was controlling, but obviously Casey is a tough cookie, and I think that when it came to Caylee, Casey probably called most of the shots, which she should have, because she is the child's mother! CA didn't have any control over that fact.. So she did the best she could! I think she was a great grandmother, and think it's horrible that they are being treated the way they are..

At this point, when it is a sure thing that the GPs will show up and stage a scene, it might be best to do it at another time. I support the right to have one, I just feel like its not right to have it turn into a fiasco. Caylee deserves a sweet, dignified ceremony, informal or not.

Done in a respectful manner there is nothing wrong with people having a memorial for Caylee. That being said, we all know this will provide the A's another moment of high drama, threats and ramblings.
