That could be true in regards to Brodsky. But he used the word FACT, that IMO leaves no doubt that he knows. If he had said, I strongly believe it is not Stacy because she ran off with another man, that would imply a questionable explanation on why Stacy has not been found.

I would think if jurors are reading the papers and saw that statement where he says he knows for a fact it is not Stacy, it would be lingering in their minds during the trial if they were one of the jurors.

Littledeer, I understand completely what you're saying, but I just don't think Brodsky is that detail-oriented, nor do I think he is truth-oriented. I have a very low opinion of him, but I still don't think he absolutely knows where she is.....meaning that I don't think Drew has confided anything nefarious to him. Just my opinion.....

BTW~ LD~ Brodsky throws the word "FACT" around so much it means nothing. The ONLY fact Brodsky has is that Stacy is missing. Beyond that, I don't believe he has ANYTHING factual coming from his client.

I still think it is very possible LE has told Pam what to say until they have a 100% ID and their ducks in a row. If it is Stacy, they still need evidence to connect Drew specifically to that crime and that scene. The cell pings may do that. They may have cell pings that night/early morning from several locations we haven't heard about yet. They may have picked up other evidence at that crime scene and may be working that right now. We just don't know all the evidence they have in this case, LE and the GJ have played their cards very close to their chests.

I think before they release any specific info about this being Stacy they are going to make sure they either have DP in custody or they are going to very sure that he is not going to run. That would give their suspect too much of a heads up on what was actually happening. Sometimes the media can help , but other times hinder an investigation.

I think before they release any specific info about this being Stacy they are going to make sure they either have DP in custody or they are going to very sure that he is not going to run. That would give their suspect too much of a heads up on what was actually happening. Sometimes the media can help , but other times hinder an investigation.

For me it wasn't what Brodsky said, it was how he said it. Then he backpeddled when NG asked, IIRC, how do you know that? Do you know where she is? He couldn't very well say HOW and WHY he knew that.

What makes you think after all the cases we have seen that LE would suddenly think like that?! No way! We would LOVE to have LE take these things into consideration, but it doesn't happen.

Even if they have Stacy's body, the Grand Jury is planning to meet for the next four months (according to an article I saw and will have to find). They will have to determine if there is sufficient evidence that Drew is responsible for her death. There will not be an arrest made immediately. Testing will take weeks, if not months, to determine COD and to do Toxic screening, etc.
