Thanks for posting this. I've been quietly following along, praying for all those affected by this storm. My daughter, son in law and two grandchildren are in Charlotte NC. They are doing well as they are quite far inland but it appears the power is out there now. Please stay safe everyone!
I am in Charleston and we are getting the brunt of it now (I hope) Still have power but lights are flickering....
Checking in from Wilmington. Jim Cantore was spotted coming in last evening in the Wilmington Airport. Spent this morning in my closet due to numerous tornadoes in the area. Tornadoes, too many to count and still going on in the area. Rain bands starting to come in now too.
Dorian is unusual in every facet so the increase in the volume and strength of the tornadoes is almost expected. We are good so far but development down the road got hit hard by a tornado early this morning. There are so many. I've never seen so many during a hurricane.
I expected tornadoes during a hurricane but have never seen this number. I've been through many of them. This is crazy.Dorian is unusual in every facet so the increase in the volume and strength of the tornadoes is almost expected.
