[FONT=&quot]This is downtown #Miami as #Irma blew the bay into the Brickell Ave. area. The surge is starting to recede as the wind shifts.

For REAL??!!

Our neighbor across from us just opened his front door, looked around then went back inside.

WTH is wrong with some of the people down here???

The wind shakes them I believe

Absolutely, the ones that are shaking just seem so random. Tampa has been, but it hasn't gotten the worst of it yet. Some that are in the worst are not shaking. Maybe some are just secured better than others.

GFS 6:00 pm projecting cat2 in Tampa, fairly consistent with other info we are seeing. Still a Hugh storm affecting the entire state. Projections for South GA are lower than previously though,...moving from a cat2 to a cat1 as it enters the state.

That'd be my husband.

We used to live in Minnesota; he once climbed on the roof to see if a tornado was coming. It was. Missed us, though.

Surprisingly, he's made it to 66 YO!
