God love ya but.. your post made me have massive anxiety!! Hahaha! I would need way too much anxiety meds. I drive my family nuts though. I have placement issues I think. The whole towel thing, yeah I'm positive that can't happen. All of my towels need to be coordinated, so when ever someone gets new towels or cloths, they are color coordinated in the bathroom. I have each silverware in its own separate drawer organizer ie: forks, knives, spoons, tablespoons. I have two knife blocks on my counter because I don't like the black handled ones with the wood handled ones. [emoji12] [emoji12] the list goes on! Ya know, even the open edges of pillows must be facing the same direction. [emoji23] [emoji33]

Just imagine if you and CARIIS were room mates! Wouldn't that be an adventure?

Jax49, you're in my thoughts too! I believe you've said you're also in Florida; I didn't mean to leave you out. Lots of prayers you'll stay safe too..

Thanks Jazz. Yes, I'm in Jacksonville and truth be told, I'm getting concerned. Well, actually I'm scared.

Adding our thoughts and prayers to yours. So sorry you're going through this. Hate this for you. Sure hope you and everyone else will soon get the all-clear signal, and we will all see Irma head away.

Please take good care of yourself. We'll be thinking about you...

What are all you'll thoughtsnon this video?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?sns=fb&v=3JBbqvXuCT4

Thanks for this. Interesting video though pretty scary. However, if I'm understanding this correctly, the video was made on Saturday, Sept 2nd, and I believe the parameters and forecasts have been updated.

Henry2326 is the expert though, the one who needs to weigh in on this. I'm not much help. I only know what I read.

Much of the video may hold true, but I guess I'm hoping not.

I just want Irma to go away. Feeling nervous for everyone...

Wow, what a change of course in one day.

So it appears to hit Miami, then turn right and travel up the eastern seaboard until about Virginia when it's a Cat 1 or 2??

The center comes ashore south of Charleston....but....caution....its 7 days out. As we just experienced, a lot can change over the next 3 days.

The models are getting very tight for a Florida landfall and the National Hurricane Center will begin speaking directly to Florida soon.

Detail from a U.S. Hurricane Center map of the forecast track for Hurricane Irma. The red areas denote places where a hurricane warning is in effect; pink denotes a watch.

Hi- I've not seen any "real" predictions of a cat5. There was some chatter about the storm possibly strengthening at that level.
But the forecast currently show cat4 from GFS, cat3 from EURO, and cat2 from GEM.

Irma's little brother has developed into an invest. All forecast at this time show it staying out to sea.

The pretty colored spaghetti goes over my house! :scared:

When I was watching Chad Myers (who used to be in Detroit) on CNN a couple of days ago, I called his storm models "ribbons" because the different-colored strands looked like streamers at a birthday party. Spaghetti (or other pasta) would totally disintegrate in a major storm, but satin, gross grain, silk, etc. "ribbons" might sustain damage for a longer period of time. Dear Honey, please be safe and leave your home if/when the approaching storm becomes imminent. :praying:

LOL I always loved Chad back in his Detroit days. Hubby and I ran into him at Detroit airport with his wife. I stated to his wife after some convo. "Oh did you know I wake up with your husband every morning" They thought it was funny. I meant wake up to your husband not with. Lordy!!!!
