Hustler's Larry Flynt seeks to save his assailant from lethal injection, dies in Feb 2021

What was Larry doing on a show with Jerry Falwell? He suffered extreme pain for years due to damaged spinal nerves and his girlfriend became addicted to his pain meds. I think it's brave of him to speak up after all he's been through. He's had a long time to consider his stance on the death penalty.

But he's not being executed for shooting Flynt. Larry can only forgive him for his being shot, but Larry can't forgive him for the 20 or so that he killed. We've all had along time to consider our stances on the DP. He hasn't been considering it any longer than I have.
