Cindy even though she is an independent woman who took care of herself and her famiy she is also a complete control freak and the only people she could control were her family she wasn't letting them go....Then who would she control.....and she accomplished this in a way by making her family dependent on her giving them a somewhat easy life she did all the work they reap the benefits but the hard part I can image would be living with the the drama mamma Cindy...and this is what KC rebelled against was the control drama of her mother but she was to lazy or stupid to leave with Caylee if she tried she coud have made it on her own with Caylee. another thing IMO she wasn't properly attached to Caylee she didn't bond with her which i blame Cindy .....Cindy used Caylee as a weapon against KC in the war of control Cindy's kind of love is very damaging to a child.....I bet ya Cindy loved it that Caylee called her mom one upping KC at evey turn...No means is this an excuse for KC she needs to be punished for what she did ....just insight into her mind (imo)

ITA This bonding time that KC and Caylee were spending together that (I believe) Cindy spoke of is rather curious now that I think about it. Why would KC and Caylee need bonding time together? KC didn't work and I think Cindy knew that or had a very good suspicion from all the theft. I mean how could she think a girl with no HS diploma could be an eveent planner? I wonder in their arguments if the bonding issue came up? I wonder if Cindy didn't throw this in KC's face - that Caylee loved her (CA) as much if not perhaps more than her own mother (KC)?
IMO Cindy would have been very happy if KC never worked as long as she was there to be Caylee's nanny! It's clear Cindy bought Caylee an over abundance of clothes , accesories and toys. Cindy didn't harp about the thefts - she overlooked them and made restitution when it affected her own parents! All Cindy wanted from KC was to be Caylee's nanny while she worked to buy all the material things to make everything look like something out of Better Homes and Gardens!
IMO Cindy felt that she was entitled to consider herself a mother to Caylee since she (as she states in her "My Caylee is Missing"") "raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc." The murder of Caylee was all about Cindy and KC! :furious:
How ironic that KC blames it on the nanny-since a nanny is all Cindy really wanted KC to be!!:bang:

Too bad nobody in that family can talk from their hearts and tell what really went on with them over Caylee's birth, etc.

The post above is why I think it is important as to who the bio is - it can have a psychological affect on the mother from day one. If KC was hurt by the person who fathered Caylee then every time she'd look at her child it might be a reminder of that. If it was a stranger who fathered Caylee then maybe not. If KC felt she was in love with the person and he left her, it may affect her in a negative way. Those are my feelings about it and my opinion.

I really do sense that there wasn't a real bond between KC and Caylee. Although AD claimed that Caylee really wanted her Mommy; but then what kid doesn't. It's not Caylee's fault there wasn't a bond - poor child.

Bold mine.

You are so right. KC couldn't bond with Caylee, because she really couldn't bond with anyone. She only used those around her, and when she was done with them, tossed them aside, such as her friends, and went on to a whole new batch of friends.

And as far as Caylee goes, KC enjoyed Caylee's early years, because she got attention for being the "great Mom". But when Caylee grew old enough to talk and tell just what was going on while KC "babysat" her, KC tossed her aside too. Plus the fact that KC got a secondary thrill of "sticking it to Cindy" by killing Caylee, because KC knew that would destroy Cindy.

Yes, I guess what you say is a very real possibility. Wrong thread but are they born or made? I wish someone knew/figured it out. If they are born that way, then what can anyone do about it except become more aware of the signs and signals of a person whose nothing but a cold and calculating self seeking leech of a soul. I hate thinking about it - reality bites!

I suppose if KC was angry with the father and wanted to hurt him, that could be evidence of motive, also.

It would/could certainly contribute to the whole mess; the unclear boundry thing that goes on in that family. Unclear boundries seem to be a real issue with them.
