What other reasons do you have for presuming that is you? Do your circumstances line up?
Yes. I was born july 25th 1984. I was giving by a parent to the foster care system because I didn't look.like them my parent had traveled along that way and I am the exact age and bi racial

What can we do to help? What do you feel comfortable with?

Have you contacted the St. Louis police department?

I need to find out because this has been bothering me for a year now

Oh my goodness, this must be really unsettling. I think your best bet is to contact the police department handling Cherie's case, or NCMEC, and see if they can do a DNA test or something to verify whether you are her or not.

I hope you do find out. My prayers and love go out to you either way. I cannot imagine sitting in your shoes right now. I hope that you have supportive people in your life.

Did they rule you out conclusively or they didn't think it was likely enough to even test or what happened?

Well, you're the same age; you look alike; and you were supposedly given up by a parent. Combined, that seems worth looking into.

Who reported the child missing and when? What were the circumstances? And what answers have you gotten from your parents (by that, I mean the people who raised you.)

@jusslikeme it sounds like you need to speak directly to the detective above, I'm sure they would be interested in doing to DNA test to find out either way
