UPDATE: Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher confirms that a 4-year-old boy died after an accidental shooting in Elgin Friday afternoon.

Sheriff Fisher says he believes the boy accidentally shot himself in the head.

The Fayette County Sheriff says this is a very active investigation.
