This man is in jail for a crime that didn't happen over an affair he didn't know about.
He was represented by a defence attorney who didn't defend him.

I heard talk that Amy had or was having several affairs that were not mentioned during the trial, one being with a Delaware County Sheriff deputy. If the affair with a deputy was true, that was kept quiet by the Sheriff dept and prosecutor for obvious reasons. No sense ruining one of their owns life by exposing such a thing. Maybe this is why the attorney say's the Sheriff dept should have recused themselves. Amy did work at the local hospital in the ER if IIRC and would have been in contact with Sheriff personal on a regular basis. JMO
Snipped from my post made two years ago.

For those not following the current hearing it has been confirmed what I had heard two years ago about Amy having an affair with one of the Delaware County Sheriff Deputies. The affair and the deputies name were suppressed from the 2019 trail by a Motion in Limine.

I posted the part of the present hearing below where this is discussed with Todd's trail lawyer from the 2019. There was also earlier testimony about this affair as well by the current Delaware County Sheriff Travis Hemesath, who was a deputy during the investigation into Amy's death in 2018 and was the lead investigator on the case at that time.

Apparently the Delaware County Sheriff Department determined that Deputy Keith Rowley who had had the affair with Amy Mullis could not have been the one who killed Amy, but there is was no concrete evidence provided since there were no patrol reports available to show the whereabouts of Deputy Rowley at the time Any was killed.

I think the fact that Amy had an affair with a member of the Delaware County Sheriff Dept, should have excused the sheriff dept from the investigation due to a conflict of interest.

During his criminal trial, prosecutors argued that Todd killed Amy after learning of an affair she was having with Jerry Frasher. The couple’s son found Amy in a shed with a corn rake impaled in her back. Todd removed the rake and began driving her to the hospital until a 911 dispatcher told him to pull over and let first responders meet them. Prosecutors argued he called Amy a “cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬in the 911 call, and played it multiple times in court.

At the start of Todd’s post-conviction relief hearing, Todd’s new attorneys stated he is insistent that Amy’s death was an accident and, “that at trial, he didn’t have any way to present evidence to the jury that it was an accident.” His defense called his first trial “fundamentally unfair” and also claimed prosecutors withheld evidence.
