William Halterman would probably be in his 60's today. He seems a likely suspect in this case given his familiarity with Beth and his obvious lying about her disappearance. It would be good to see if he has any kind of criminal record that might point to his possible involvement in Beth's disappearance.

James Allen Kinney is a convicted murderer and suspected serial killer who was traveling from Michigan to the West Coast at the time Beth went missing. He was an Army veteran who had been discharged with mental problems and he frequented military bases and Veterans Administration (VA) hospitals all around the country. I would consider him a possible suspect as well.
