That article is behind a pay wall for me, I've ran out of free articles. Would you mind summarizing the highlights?
An interstate detainer was placed on Dinkins on Thursday.

According to Bureau County Circuit Court electronic records, Dinkins is facing one count of manufacture and delivery of more than 200 grams of amphetamine or an analog of amphetamine, and one count of delivery of more than 900 grams of methamphetamine.

Both of the charges are Class X felonies under Illinois law that carry a prison sentence of six to 30 years. No court dates have been set.

Henry Earl Dinkins, the man Davenport police have named a person of interest in the disappearance of 10-year-old Breasia Terrell, is wanted in Bureau County, Illinois, on meth trafficking charges.

The press briefing held Wednesday also had a strange moment. In response to a reporter who asked “Has (Breasia’s) family been cooperative the whole time?” Davenport Police Chief Paul Sikorski paused for a full 8 seconds before saying: “We’re definitely focusing on family and definitely interviewing family members. I think the cooperation lever – that’s something that may come out later on.”

ETA - Borrowed what the press said, and changed the text to bbm the bit I wanted to highlight

They suspect family involvement other than Dinkins?

It sounds like they got enough evidence to charge Dinkins with the meth offense.

I suspect that some of his partners in crime are starting to talk, because they know he'll never get out.

Thank you! Ok so the mother knowingly had a child with an RSO?

Some people don't exactly have high standards when it comes to choosing partners, let alone parents for their children.

I know one thing for certain mom was obliviously still involved with this man to some level because her son was still going to his father's house for visits. There is no way all the times he was arrested for criminal behavior { crack, robbery, meth} that she didn't know he was a danger to her children and on top of all that a sex offender. How would he even have unsupervised visits if she fought against it because from his record he stayed in trouble? If he did get visits with my son he sure as hell wouldn't get his hands on my daughter he had no legal rights to Breasia. I feel so sad for this beautiful young lady and terrified of what may have happened to her his past makes it even more frightening. I feel like she was handed off into a dangerous situation that should have never happened no matter who did what the monster should have never had access to her. Praying they find Breasia soon. IMO

Sad truth- and who pays the price for that lack of wisdom ... go ahead and jack up your own life, but FGS use birth control!!

I've followed this case from day 1 but it's really really hard to abide by WS TOS and say what I really feel about any mother who knows, allows, grants permission for her minor child to be in the care of an adult who has been convicted of a sexual assault against a minor child.

I just hope they find baby girl REAL soon, and justice is served.
To all parties, that allowed/permitted it.

It's been revealed that the mother has a sizable criminal record of her own.

Any updates on our local Facebook pages have been using disclaimers that say things like "Please do not make comments about her mother's parenting skills. If you know what happened to her, just tell us."

And I made that statement gender-neutral for a reason.

At first, I was giving Aishia Lankford the benefit of the doubt. But, the more I see, the more I believe she knows more than she's said publicly. Davenport Police Chief Paul Sikorski's comment of "We're definitely focusing on family and definitely interviewing family members" got me thinking that AL has some hand in this whole thing.

First, AL has quite the court history for criminal charges and child support needing to be paid. I particularly find it disturbing that she has an OWI with 2 felony convictions of child endangerment with bodily injury in 2016. https://www.iowacourts.state.ia.us/ESAWebApp/TIndexFrm
Why would HD ask her "Why did you drag me into this?" I understand that it could just be him trying to proclaim his innocence.

I think that she found herself in something sketchy and needed some kind of help, possibly monetary. She might have asked HD for that help, knowing that he had a "soft spot" for her. I believe that he agreed to help, at a different kind of cost, and Breasia was that cost. I suspect that he tried to pimp Breasia out and it resulted in her abduction. If this is the case, I'm curious if the mother knew what HD had in mind.

Is this page only accessible in the US cause I cant access it? The child endangerment is certainly concerning. I still don't get the sketchy feeling I get from a parent involved in their child being missing. But you theory is definitely possible, maybe she did not expect anything to happen to Breasia?
I am intrested in the aunt because she clearly never trusted Dinkins so did she and Aisha ever have a con o about it?

I don't know about it's accessibility, but it is just a run down of charges and convictions from 2016. She was charged with OWI, leaving the scene of an injury accident, 2 charges of child endangerment with bodily injury, and 2 charges of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person. The courts dismissed 3 of the 6 due in return of her negotiated/ voluntary plea on the 2 charges of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person and the OWI.

I don't know if a conversation took place between Aishia and the aunt, but I would think there would have been one. I truly hope I am wrong with my theory and that Breasia is returned safely.

It could be that HD had a debt and AL didn't know anything about it. But, I still want to know what's behind the comment about dragging him into it. Into what exactly?

Heartbreaking words by her mom.
The Gazette

“I think my daughter is alive. And I think it’s just a matter of time before Dinkins is ready to crack and tell what he knows."

Lankford confirmed Dinkins asked for the meeting earlier this week. Dinkins is the father of her youngest son, and she had a relationship with him “about eight years ago,” she said.

Lankford said she turned down Dinkins’ first request to speak. Then she reconsidered.

Lankford said Dinkins claimed his innocence and asked her, “Why did you drag me into this?”

The mother is the one who reported the "Why did you drag me into this?" comment. (see the link in the quote above) If she was somehow involved, it would make no sense to me at all that, while everyone was fixed on Dinkins, that she would essentially turn suspicion on herself by making this comment public.

She could have let it slip, she didn't think that people would pick up on it, or she didn't think it was of any relevance. It could be that I have accidentally taken out of context too. And, it could be that it has nothing to do with Breasia at all. The comment sounds off to me, is all.

I agree that it wouldn't make sense to turn suspicion on herself, but criminals have been caught by doing just that.
