They’re charging to help them do what? Give those shirts away! Get her face out there ASAP!!!!

Isn't that a normal thing to do?

Charge for T shirts to raise money
Raise money for what? Shouldn’t the concern be more urgently placed on getting her pic and info out there?

Part of the cost could be for the actual t-shirts they are printing on. JMO

Breasia Terrell missing: Person of interest, a relative, held in disappearance of 10-year-old Iowa girl

07/30/2020 12:14 pm PDT

PRINCETON, Ill. (WQAD) -- Henry Earl Dinkins, the man Davenport Police have named as a person of interest in the disappearance of 10-year-old Breasia Terrell, is wanted in Illinois on meth-trafficking charges.
[...]
WQAD reports Breasia was reported missing July 10, after going to spend the previous night at an apartment with her half-brother and his father, Henry Dinkins.

The Des Moines Register reports that five days later, an Amber Alert was issued, prompting Terrell's family to ask why it took so long.

The FBI Omaha Field Office said Breasia Terrell was last seen in the early hours of July 10, 2020, in the 2700 Block of 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa, wearing a white T-shirt, shorts and white or pink flip-flops.

Most folks will put up a 🤬🤬🤬 account for help when a loved one goes missing.
So making the T shirts brings more awareness. .I'm sure mom has to take time off work.
Maybe provide snacks for volunteers etc.

Breasia Terrell’s cousin printing masks and t-shirts to help spread her photo

“Children’s shirts cost $10 and adult shirts go for $15. The family said the money helps to support them right now.”

In my experience, anything to help find her should not be a ploy to fund the family right now. Are they missing income from her? MOO

You're right, it could be a ploy. But, there would be a loss of income if the mother has taken a leave of absence from her job. I would rather see the transparency of how the money was being used now, than to find out later that the money went to something frivolous like a large screen TV.

No, I don't think the mother has been completely open and honest about everything. But, I would hope that someone in the family would be doing whatever they can to hopefully bring Breasia home. JMO

I was honestly asking if they were missing income bc I hadn’t seen that mom was off of work. MOO

You do realize it cost money to print shirts, correct? In addition, not everyone has the resources to pay for them regardless if they're taking time off work or not.

Are we still talking about the cost of shirts? Does it cost $15. to print pics of her onto paper to post everywhere in the QC?

Since you continue to post about it...yes

You're right, the cost of shirts is irrelevant. Free shirts for everyone because the cause is good. Even if they can't actually pay for them.

Maybe they're thinking this would help raise awareness and instead of being able to afford $15 in flyers, they could afford $150 or $500 since $15 wont get you far. Maybe they could add additional resources or increase the reward money. Maybe there has been a loss of income during this. None of the above do I know so I'll reserve judgment.

It's not uncommon to charge for shirts to raise money for various reasons. It seems in this case people want a detailed report of how that extra couple bucks made is being utilized.

Is it a ploy? I don't know. I'm more concerned with the circumstances surrounding her disappearance than I am about them becoming hundredaires from slanging t-shirts.

It seems as though you already have your mind made up so if I were you, I'd probably pass on purchasing a shirt. If you want to support them you can volunteer or print some flyers and ship them to the volunteers if you're not a local

Thanks. But IMO if you want to get her pic out there maybe not charge $15 that most people can’t afford right now. And no, I have no need to financially support the family, I’ll do what I can to assist in finding out what happened to Breasia tho.

Davenport community rallies to help find Breasia Terrell

Was really hoping Breasia would have been found by now I can't believe she's still missing this is so heartbreaking especially when we know mostly likely the person who knows exactly where to find her is sitting in jail right now.

It's maddening isn't it!! The pain and agony of the family, waste of financial resources & LE time. All that could be remedied in one minute, if the 🤬🤬🤬 would just tell the truth. I say this over and over here at WS, it's mind-boggling that a fellow human can be so twisted. Not an ounce of humanity in their soul, completely motivated by only their own self preservation, evil personified.

Rant Off~

I wonder if LE is going to try and use the meth trafficking charges to get him to talk? I would think he knows that he's going away for a good length of time for that charge alone so would it be enough to offer some kind of lesser sentence in return for him telling everything he knows? In my opinion though I don't think he will talk no matter what they offer him he seems to be just that evil to make them fight for every piece of evidence.
