Authorities continue the search for a missing woman, who has Alzheimer’s and went missing in a white Toyota minivan, after the vehicle was found struck in southern Iowa.

On Thursday, the sheriff’s office provided an update saying the Toyota minivan Anderson was driving had been found struck and abandoned on Wednesday evening in Ringgold County. The vehicle was left at the intersection of 200th Street and 265th Avenue in Liberty Township Section.

Authorities say there was a single set of footprints going away from the vehicle.
