MAQUOKETA, Iowa --- The trial of Danielle Holdgrafer, who is accused of causing the death of her 4-year-old son, has been continued.

I guess they cannot use the husband's testimony since he is now deceased. That's a shame, she needs to be accountable for what she did. I hope they don't give her a plea deal and if they do, I hope it has an extended sentence involved.

This is awful, I hope she is still prosected to the max. extent for what she did to this precious baby. Collin deserves justice!!

Danielle Holdgrafer of Andrew pleaded guilty today to charges in the death of one adopted son and the abuse of another.

She faces 50 years in prison.

The woman charged in drowning her 4-year-old son in a bathtub last year pleaded guilty Friday to child endangerment resulting in death and was sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Jackson County Attorney Chris Raker said “justice was served today.” He declined to comment on the reasons behind the plea agreement.
