This is a shocking turn of events! There's definite intention to actions that would lead to a fall from a com tower. More heartbreak for his family.
I don’t know and am perplexed by this. Also wondering falling vs jumping.I hate to say this when everyone is already hurting, but could that be the highest structure he could think of in walking distance?
Agree- fell or jumped? If it were my child I'd cling to the thought that he fell...such a tragedyI don’t know and am perplexed by this. Also wondering falling vs jumping.

Tupper said in a news conference Thursday that the boy's parents had taken his phone away after a "disciplinary discussion," which prompted him to leave, the Des Moines Register reported.
"It's a typical interaction with a 13-year-old child, nothing extraordinary," Tupper said. "But he reacted emotionally to that."
Cause of death determined for Iowa boy who left home in snowstormIn an earlier release, police said Corey was last seen around 11:15 p.m. Jan. 22
It would be nice if msm would stop referring to "...after a fight with his parents..."
Pretty sure this is hard enough for them without speculation that an argument caused this.
His dad said there was a discussion and the phone was taken. So, not a fight.
I’ve never tried uploading a file before. It’s a clipping from the Marshalltown Times Republican sent to me by my father. My mother was aware of Corey’s death when I spoke with her, but she wasn’t sure she knew the Brown family from church.
The image of Corey’s locker has made its way around social media as well.
