The Sunshine law will kick in sooner or later so some info will be released to the public. Nothing will be releasead that is still being investigated or is evidence though. So you just have to keep in mind what they release they either have better proof or it's been investigated & not worth a darn.

I am really curious about the specifics of the search that began around 12:30 and ended when the cops arrived at the lake.

A few questions in my mind:

Why did Auntie T. insist that they hurry to the lake?

What is up with that 'random' witness who told her he saw the 'little girls' riding their bikes earlier?

I think she said that LE had his name, but I have heard nothing more about him.

I assume he was important because otherwise, why would they all stay at the lake after not seeing the girls? And why would the cops all head over there?

I know they worry about drowning, but up until then, the family swore the girls never went to that lake.

Why did it take so long to find the bikes? How long does it take to go all the way around that lake?

Is it true that Gma and Auntie quit searching at 2:00 and went to do an errand, and then returned and went to the lake first?

Were any of the male family members searching at the beginning?

eta: I know the 12 yr old brother was. I meant any of the fathers or uncles.
Just thought it odd because I know my husband would have been out that door in a second.

Everytime I follow one of these cases I swear it will be my last. It is so hard to keep getting our hearts broken.........

:please:For all the families of the dead and missing :please:

Listen all you Negative Nancys and Debbie Downers -- these girls WILL be found! Law enforcement has got to be better at this than we are, as they have more info. Right?! RIGHT?! (Hold me!)

Not giving up hope in this case. Absolutely not. Refuse to give up hope until they are found.

I was quite impressed as to just how articulate she is especially in the subpoened video. She didn't hem and haw her way through it, she spoke directly and frankly, almost scripted, but she was not reading anything. She answered the reporter's question like a professional spokesperson. JMO.

I've commented before too about how articulate she is. Not bashing, but I've really pondered where she picked it up and avoided the grammar of the mother and TB? HC seems to be well spoken, but not with the smoothness of MCM, iykwim? They were the two youngest girls, so what changed in the family dynamics? Did someone else have a great influence or could they have spent much time with other adults? Maybe the father? jmo

Except...we always think this for a while...:(
(That they know best, that they are on top of things, etc...)
And then nothing happens...in SO many cases.

Curious what the statement that was quoted was? Can you share?

I don't know!! I am highly confused about what can be shared and what can not be shared!!

I was doing a google search for something, I don't even remember what it was, and I came across a site with an article about the girls. At the end of the article there were comments. Someone commenting on the article provided a link :

http://www.kwwl.com/global/video/fl...unchPageAdTag=News&activePane=info&rnd=519465

and said someone in the video said, "I don't know if they are still in the lake."

So I tried to confirm it for myself but the video had been taken down.

Grandma and E's brother searched first from 12:30 to 1:30.

Heather apparently searched for about 45 minutes and then went to PD at 2:45

Grandma, Tammy, and E's brother went to Meyer's Lake at 2:45 - the man told Tammy he saw the girls at about 2:30

LE arrived at the lake at 3.

Bike found by firefighter at 3:58.

Elizabeth's 12 year old brother was with them when they searched. Nobody really said when Drew got home, but he stayed with the kids while everybody else searched.

The hair on my neck just stood up. "I don't know if they are still in the lake." I heard that. I remember that. I don't recall from where. I am going on a hunt now.....

I just have to say after reading how some think she's so articulate. All i see is "mimic" if that makes sense. This woman was just released from whatever, halfway house or parole. she had people feeding her words and programs to follow. imo

It's really hard to say who may have influenced them. When I was about 8, I wrote a paper for school. I said something about having to "warsh" dishes. My teacher told me there was no r in wash, and I told her that my mother and grandmother always said warsh. She told me that a lot of lower class people pronounce it that way, but it's not correct. I didn't know what lower class meant, but it didn't sound good, so I made an effort all through my early years to make sure I always spelled and pronounced words correctly so people wouldn't think I was "bad" or dumb.

Ok, it's possible I'm just being really dumb here, but, IF they were in the lake, how would they have gotten out?!

Where did Heather search?

If LE arrived at 3 but the bikes weren't found until 3:58 what were they doing for nearly an hour?
