i am getting nervous. where is our cindersoot?

I know, the scanner feed has been down all day, except for one brief moment... And after that I was sure that Cindersoot had a very eventful day. So I am a little concerned since I know she'd want to jump right on and tell us all about it...

Yes, I realize some people do that, I guess I was thinking of a mature dog. People used to park on the Wal Mart parking log and sell or give away puppies and kittens, until a city ordinance was passed and now they can't do that anymore.
I guess I just have a hard time imagining someone getting enough money from a dog or a puppy to buy drugs, they would have to be purebred to get much out of them around here. If it's a cross between 2 breeds, maybe 50 bucks.
I've heard that some addicts will sell their own kids, though, so I'm not surprised.

Years ago a boyfriend of mine had his beautiful, loving and much loved black lab stolen. The boyfriend was a doctor and he was heartbroken to lose his dog, but he was devastated by what he thought probably would happen to the dog. He knew that large breeds were used for medical experimentation since the size made them most nearly like a human body. They were stolen, then at least, to sell to those laboratories. I don't know if this is still done, I hope and pray not.

This happened over 40 years ago, and my heart is hurting now writing this. I loved that dog, he used to love to swim with me and tow me around in the surf.

Sorry for the OT

We should meet up sometime and go for a bike ride. I have a Kodak PlaySport and some duct tape... just in case we ride past some garden hoses and all. Just don't yell, "I'll race ya!" I'll pass out in the first block <lol>

The entrance at the gate to the water, it was so creepy here, I was totally alone. This is where the purse was found.

Rainy and lotes of small fires smoldering around the lake, today is the lake clean up. Very quite around there.

9 minutes from collins house to the lake. I think if they cut past carpenters house it still would be around that time.

Thanks Cindersoot!! Wow - Lederman's doesn't look at all like I pictured it from the aerial Google shots. It is sooooo retro!!
