Interesting. It could also be said that the bikes were found by TG, then by the 2:00 sighting, then officially by LE at approximately 4:00. Maybe they were just there all day long...and the girls were gone (either from the lake or via vehicle on the way there) right after 12:15 or 12:19 (or whatever the actual time of the cctv camera was). MOO

ETA: As far as we know, no one has said that they passed through there at some point and did NOT see the bikes either laying or leaning. Hmmm. Still something really wonky about that timeline. Ugh.

You're right, there's no reason not to believe TG's sighting of the bikes just because it isn't mentioned by LE. Finding the girls' bikes at 2:00 doesn't necessary make TG's sighting irrelevant, IMO. I'd like to know if he saw the the bikes in a different location at 12:20ish than the location where they were found at 2:00 JMO

The runner was not confirmed afaik by LE.

Not a rumor, the FBI agent tht gave the press conferences mentioned that a runner who ran the trail regularly had seen the bikes and was able to "pinpoint" the time. Many folks here was assuming that she misspoke, and that she really was speaking about TG and his sighting, but apparently, someone DID report seeing the bikes at a different time, so it may have been the runner that was mentioned.

Quite honestly I fear this is when the girls were abducted.
Imo this time frame is critical ---if only someone at the park
could remember if they
saw the girls or a vehicle or something, during that time.

I kinda agree with you, because I just don't remember the runner being talked about much or at all. Doesn't mean there wasn't a runner, like you I need more evidence.

Well, there was a definite sighting of the bikes by a person who pinpointed the time. We have a direct quote from the FBI on that (see the link in my last post). The only question is if the FBI agent mistakenly said runner when it was really a biker. I thought that at first, but now I am fairly sure that there is a verified sighting of the bikes at 2PM, so I do tend to think it was really a runner that saw them and that she did not just misspeak.
