this is JMOO...I have seen in the media Aunt Tammy with MCM & WC. I have seen WC with MCM and Tammy. I have seen MCM with WC, Aunt Tammy, and DM. I don't believe I have seen Heather or Dan with any family members other than each other. Not saying it hasn't happened, I just have not seen it. Again, JMOO and I wonder if Aunt Tammy has been privvy to anything that EC has done or not done in the past. It just seems to me there is a rift in the family that was present before the disappearance....again this is totally MOO and forgive me if I have stepped out of bounds.lease:

Based on LE saying to pay attention to a potential substantial change in their appearance, and the possibility that someone could benefit from them being alive, and that someone could be close enough or old enough or respected enough or feared enough, by the girls, to override GMA's authority; I believe there is a very good chance they are still alive and are being hidden, probably at some distance from E'dale. JMHO

I still go with the Little Red Riding Hood thought...someone who could usurp GMA's authority...or someone who could replace GMA's authority...or someone who could masquerade as GMA, i.e., GMA said it's okay to come with me. Something like that.

I really think they would have NOT gone there with out at least check in,

I have 10 children and work with Many many more, and most time even if they are going to go a little farther

then they should they will check in, if not for just to get a drink or use the rest room.

It would be 3 things they did not follow rules

1. Going so Far away
2. Not checking in
3. going that far when already an hour had passed and it was to be a short ride.

They are really good kids I can't see them doing all three.

IMHO, I think the bikes were either staged or they went willingly. I find it so puzzling that they would be (out of character) riding their bikes toward the lake between 12:30 and 1:00, knowing GMA would not approve..knowing it was wrong..unless they thought it was okay to do so. Whether they entered a vehicle on Arbutus or at the actual trail, I think it may very well have been willingly. MOO

I don't know. Leverage is a possibility. That could come in may forms, from many angles.

It is just a theory (one of several). They may have been abducted by an insane person. I really don't know..just throwing around ideas.

The fact that the girls were sort of being disobedient seemingly leads me to theory that they went willingly. I just don't know who they went with or where they went after that..

I'm pretty sure that whoever the girls left with or were taken by, knew full well that cell phones could be tracked..even possibly E's which was definitely left behind. It is pretty common knowledge. MOO

with all due respect and am not being snarky so please do not take it that way but I am the daughter of a police officer. my parents were great parents, I rarely ever got into trouble and never into REAL trouble but I did all 3 of those things when I was a kid. Edale is a very small town. it is not uncommon to see kids tooling around town. Meyers Lake is close as well as many other parks and woods. my gut is telling me that those girls were going to meet someone. they were riding so fast when caught on camera. if they had just been enjoying a summer bike ride i think they would have been going at a more leisurely speed and riding side by side rather than zooming by single file...

There was an article linked in one of the previous threads that had a picture of the three sisters, Heather, Misty and Tammy standing together. Heather is in the middle and is taller than the other two. She's looking at Misty with such a loving smile on her face.

All three sisters had their arms around each other.

It's hard to tell from little media glimpses what family relationships are really like, I think.

I agree with you 100% ,

I am trying to point that very fact out, That the girls would mot have just taken a ride down to the lake "for just the sake of taking a ride."

And then were abducted by some random perp

They were meeting someone or something was PRE-planed for them to be there at a certain time.

Wishful thinking, but I hope that they were taken by some kind of religious fanatic, who felt that they would do a better job of raising the kids , or a couple/woman who wanted an instant "family".
At least that way, the children have a good chance of being kept alive...
I know the odds are not great, but I will go with hope and possibility until proved otherwise. Time to come home girls.

I wonder if anyone who lived on those roads was having any construction done on their house such as a new roof or house being painted or remodeling going on. Some of those companies will hire anybody off the street and when we had a lot of roofers here a few years ago some of the workers would try to have a conversation with anyone who passed by. A lot of the workers came in their own vehicles. Just a thought.

There is also a sprawling vehicle repair place about a block north of the intersection in question. Lots of garage bays somewhat hidden.

The part that stumps me is:

Elizabeth and Lyric seem to be VERY good kids and followed their Parents guideline as to staying close to the house and checking in every hour or so.

Therefore, Why would they be going to the lake at 12:23 without checking in, and knowing they were not to go that far and knew they need to be home soon so Grandmother and Lyric could leave.

Y'all don't get exasperated with me for saying this YET AGAIN..... But I cannot shake the strong feeling that those girls were snatched off the street and likely just after the video camera caught their images.

I have zero explanation for that, but I just don't think the girls were taken from the lake.

My gut is saying they were taken very close to the camera shots, and that LE has footage also of the perp/perp's vehicle. Perhaps coming and going.

The bikes were "chunked" shortly after, either by the perp or an accomplice.

Lyric had a cell phone but it was left at home that day. My ten-year-old has one, too, as an easy way to keep in touch with one parent while at the other parent's house. And she forgets it ALL of the time. Urgh.

But the phone found at the lake was Elizabeth's. It did not have service but of course was still traceable. She used it for playing games, it was stated.

Who ever did this is

VERY, Very familiar with the way LE works,

such as an ex-police officer, ex-Fire fighter, or Career criminal that has done this before.

OR

They were VERY, VERY, VERY Lucky

OR

It was a "Perfect Storm"

If they could Isolate all calls that were made from a certain tower in a certain area at a certain time, and then link them back to the user....

Like for example:

If someone was making calls starting up near the Collins home, then suddenly they were making call near Myers lake area...At the same time the girls were riding their bikes in the area.

and Track phones why can't they find a way to track them...

Here is a map of cell phone towers and carriers in the area. I don't know if that helps. I have no clue how it works, but it looks like most calls would be pinged at the US Cellular tower by the lake. I have no idea really.
