I was driving around NE and N rural Iowa all morning today seeing clients and 3 times I saw white panel vans... not a big deal... but all 3 had removable white magnetic signs on the passenger doors of the vans.. very easy to take on and off... Makes you go "HMMM"
Which led to another thought
Last summer Cedar Falls was given a grant for something or other and it was used to beautify the town, by burying all the cable wires and also cable and internet boxes were updated and made to be installed in the home instead of outside of it. We had a HUGE influx of traveling contractors and installers... i mean at least 100 if not more..the to2wn was blanketed with them for months...They ALL drove white vans with the removable magnets on the doors. They were white and blue and said "CFU Contractor" on them. A few had buckets lifts on them or ladders.. most did not though. (please no one take offense to my next statements). A lot of the workers were scary. I know as temp. contractors they wouldn't be renting homes or anything.. but they stayed in the seediest motels we have around here (the ones all the RSOs have to go live in), and you'd drive by and see them partying on the balconies, sitting on the curbs smoking and swearing while school kids walked by (work started in the summer but didn't end till well into fall)... just a lot of outrageous behaviors. Every home in CF in the city limits had to let one of these guys into their homes to do the box work. We put it off as long as we could until we got the notice that our internet was going to be shut off if we didn't comply lol
The guy that came was freaky... the line wouldn't stretch into the basement where they wanted to mount the box, so they has to put it in one of the kids bedrooms and ru it outside through the wall and then back into the basement... anyway i made sure hubby was here, but the guy was just asking lots of questions about my kids (His white van had Texas plates on it) and we caught him sitting on my sons bunk bed running his hand on the bedspread while on his cell phone. Anyway the work got done and we started seeing less and less of the vans (although occasionally I"ll see one around here still).

I don't know exactly what I'm trying to get at.. just wondering if maybe one of these traveling cable workers could have grabbed the girls and maybe could account for the other scary white van situations around the state.
Like i said i still see the ones with CFU contractor on the side sometimes.. so they have been around the area for a year now.. plenty of time to become used to the area.. and as the work has dried up... more time to explore..

I'm probably waaaaaaaay off base.. but seeing the rural contractor vans today in such concentration brought it to mind

But I have just ready all of the Iowa, Ill, Minn, and Wis attempted abductions in the last 1-2 years and The really Weird thing is,

Almost everyone of them the man is described as

Age: 50-65
Long Dark Hair with Graying
Beard Mustache
About 6 foot to 6 foot 2 Tall
Weighting about 195-200 lb
Few times he had another adult with him

The weird thing is,
several are a White Van
couple are a Black Van
And one was a Black car with White top.

My thought is.....

Could this man own a Used Car lot
Or
A salvage yard for Cars....

This is a really good Thought and Theory Peeples,

We have Many people down here and I a asume they are all over the USA,

That are....how do you say.....Not documented.

I am not blaming any race, skin color or nationality, because it doesn't matter .

Many work for cash under the table and have no traceability. Nor do LE or the public know of any criminal past they have.

They also know this, I have seen them get arrested one week and be released for jail only to go over to Miami and get a new ID and start again as some one else.

I have been under the impression that the girls had just been riding around the area where their grandma could see them for the 45 or so mins before they took off on there speedy ride to the park. If they wanted to go to the park why wait around 45 mins and not just go as soon as they went out to ride bikes. This is the reason I think they planned to meet someone, that and the fact that as soon as they got there they were gone. Seems TOTALLY prearranged. I don't think it was a random act at all. And the fact they had been exposed to drug users, if they had, well why wouldn't that put them at higher risk? It's not the kind of people that you can trust IMO.

You know, its a good reason to support local union labor for working in the building & repair trades. Union workers are registered, trained, accountable to their bosses, have background checks, documentation and make a decent enough wage to live in the communities where they work instead of drifting from town to town.

Thank you CindySue....

This has really got me thinking....

What if they were riding around waiting for someone to get off work for lunch.

Per WC, They kept asking if they could go for a bike ride at 11:30 and the Gramma said sure a short one.

Maybe the girls rode off in the direction of the old Post office, (per WC)

and that person said "hey, I don't get off work until 12:00 I will meet you at the Myers Lake then."

So, Then we see the girls bolting off to Myers Lake.....where they would meet them/him/her

:waitasec: I think that make sense

I know they took all the cell phone and checked all the calls, I wonder if they also checked the home land-line phone...?

Boy oh Boy do I wish they would do that down here....

one of our Local Collages did a documentary on this in the 5 county's around here and keeping all the people they interviewed Identify a secret uncovered that over 75% of the grocery stores, mall, construction, restaurants and Gas station were all NON documented workers..

The owners and big building contractors probably think they're saving some money, but all they're doing is putting a huge, expensive burden on the communities where these drifters work. Crime, drugs, etc.

Because me and the little Google Man don't get along..(he goes left when I want him to go right and right when I want him to go left)

I need to ask..

Is there a 5 and dime store anywhere near the Collins House or any little store like a Dollar tree...?

The girls were not seen on the camera until after 12:10.
So where were they from 11:30 - 12:10

CN2Souls, I wonder if that's the time the girls may have been at the lake and had already returned and rode into the Lederman's parking lot. I forget what time WC said she saw them in the parking lot?

IMO
