IMO, TG did not see the bikes. So I wonder whose bikes he did see and were the bikes he saw that similar in appearance to the girl's bikes that he could state that he saw the girl's bikes. :waitasec::waitasec::waitasec: IMO

I think one reason his sighting was never included in LE's timeline is because TG couldn't describe the bikes well enough to convince LE they were the girls' bikes. If he was biking and swerved to miss them, he may not have taken all that good of a look at them. JMO

Given the possibility that the girls were seen on Brovan at 12:23, I think TG saw two different bikes that day. Or he was mistaken with the day/time of the sighting. Again, JMO.

ETA: If the girls were seen on Brovan at 12:23, would that be consistent with them being captured on Mr. Pahl's CCTV camera at 12:11-12:19?

TG may have seen the bikes. But it might have been before they were abducted.

LE has now reported that the girls were seen on Brovan Blvd. at 12:23 p.m. TG said it was approx. 12:20 p.m. when he swerved around two bikes.

TG may have seen the girls' bikes, but if he did, then his timeline must be way off the mark.

Officials said "anyone that was in the Arbutus Ave. or Gilbert Dr. and Elmer Ave. areas or anywhere in Evansdale on that day that may have seen the girls" should contact them.

This does not state a WITNESS saw them. IMOO...I find the wording of "information that the girls were seen..." and the fact that LE reportedly have been reviewing hours and hours of video tapes to imply something other than a witness sighting, maybe a video capture?

Are there any locations with cameras near the specific streets? Is the firehouse located on one of these streets?

It has been one of my theories all along that TG saw a different set of bikes, and the girls were going to the lake to meet people they considered "friends", who were the owners of the TG sighted bikes. I think they left the lake area willingly with the "friends" to a nearby house or a car, leaving the girl's bikes and purse there to be later found by fireman/LE. I think something bad happened to them after this "encounter" with the "friends", and maybe the "friends" weren't initially involved with any wrongdoings, but became involved with "others" that had bad intentions.

I base this theory on an earlier plea by one of the parents (might have been Heather) who stated to the abductors to return the girls and she understood even if they didn't realize they were doing anything wrong. She said she forgave them and God would want them to "do the right thing". IMOO her pleas seem to be targeting younger people.

I know it's a common occurence, on a riding path in a park, just that it happened to occur on this day, of all days, and TG had to swerve on his own bike to miss these bikes.

How close were these bikes to the location where L's and E's were found?

So, now I am wondering, were the other two bikes female bikes also?

Did TG know if he saw male or female bikes on the path, one of each?

Why didn't LE let the public know that the bikes TG saw were not L's and E's. Why hold that information back?

Yes we just had a case down here where a man pushed a girls off a bridge just goofing around, They were all friends, Put she couldn't swim.

When she didn't surface they took off and she was found later drowned.
They been charged with Manslaughter...

The only reason it is brought up now is because The girls are missing.

They may have been at the lake every day.

That would be in keeping with what MCM said about the girls riding their bikes around the neighborhood:

They do have a little bit of freedom, so they`re allowed to go, you know, maybe two or three blocks away and stay within those blocks. An hour, check back in is kind of the standard that we hold with them, and mostly, they stick with it.

So it was very surprising to see that they had come this far, if, indeed, they did, you know, ride this far.

IIRC LE said they also checked homes w/ private security systems, maybe someone had a recorder on their home and caught them on one of the streets mentioned.

LE has never officially commented on TG's bike sighting. Since LE never told the public about the bikes seen by TG, would they need to tell the public if the sighting was incorrect?

IMO, I don't think TG would have gotten that good of a look at the bikes if he just swerved to avoid them. He may not have noticed whether the bikes were male or female bikes.

Regarding where TG saw the bikes in relation to where Lyric and Elizabeth's bikes were found, that has been a source of great discussion. To my knowledge we have never been told specifically where TG saw the bikes when he swerved to miss them. JMO

ETA: I don't know how coincidental it is that TG saw two bikes on the trail that day, IF the bikes weren't Lyric and Elizabeth's bikes. I guess it would depend on how many people generally bike there on any given day, how many people bike in the area where TG saw the bikes, etc. Maybe it is a big coincidence, or maybe it isn't such an uncommon occurrence.
