I think posting a link to the registry site containing the pertinent info would be within TOS ad we can folow the breadcrumbs you provided in your post.

Throw up a link of what you are looking :)

Nursie, would that be okay? Please and thank you.

My post landed on page 3 - links are there...

I just don't like the location of where these guys live and the fact that they all live in the same park (place)....

Nature preserve, wildlife preserve, and wildlife reserve are different. Hunting reserve is also used. Depends on where you are, and what goes on there. A reserve is set aside, though hunted. A preserve is just that. Preserved. Wilderness usually connotes undeveloped..as in no bathrooms, or power to campsites. No BBQs..etc., no services. As far as I know.

I am bringing my post over from the last thread as well...

I just can't get the thought out of my head that one of these perps is a woman (I really think more than one person did this) I have no basis whatsoever other than I really think these girls were what I would call "street smart". And either they really were taken forcefully OR they knew the person. I just feel a woman would appear less threatening and more likely be able to convince 2 girls to go with her.

I really don't even know what to hope for anymore as an outcome...I just hope that whomever did this is found...and IF there were accomplices that they just spill their guts on each other :jail:

I had wondered about a woman's involvement as well. IIRC, there is a woman defendant involved in the same court case that Lyric's father is messed up in. And I wondered if it was someone he was romantically involved with at one time. Because I think he might have betrayed her at some point, either legally or romantically. And sometimes women who are betrayed can be very bitter and twisted and violent in response.

Hi all, I've lurked here for years and several cases but I don't think I've ever posted...I have lived in Iowa my entire life. I see a lot of you posting that you do not think the bodies were hidden very well or were left out in the open. I just want to clarify that in July when the girls went missing, those trees would have been so thick with leaves that you would never have been able to see in like you can in the recent photos. Our forests are dense with a lot of underbrush and debris(branches and what not) During the summer months the grass they are laying in would have been waist high on an adult. You could literally be standing right next to something and not be able to see it. Although many, many people enjoy parks like this in Iowa, most hikers would stick to some kind of trail (even if it was primitive) and not go off the beaten path. Hunters are different, they are specifically walking off the beaten path in order to scare up whatever it is they are hunting and now that it has frosted, the grass is laying down so they would have been able to see.

I hope that helps you guys from out of the area picture what it might have been like a bit more.

Thanks a lot, exactly the sort of local info I was hoping for!

And

:welcome3:

That brings me to another point about the dump site...why not buried in a backyard somewhere? Or thrown in the river?

If he didn't care when or where they were found, why not just the side of the road? Or the middle of a public space like Austin Sigg?

Many bodies lie beneath new patios, in building sites, broken apart by running water, in pieces in garbage bags in various city dumpsters. These bodies are never found.

Why the wooded area, where presumably it was difficult terrain to carry them through at the time, and would reveal its secrets when the leaves fell?

It's kind of a half hearted way to hide them...not a serious attempt, somehow.

My theory is - this guy was in a hurry, and he might've intended to go back and move, fool with or bury them at a later stage but for some reason was unable to. In custody?

Which again, implies a local.

They were dumped in the middle of a public place.

That info was posted by Dr. Know on the previous thread, so I imagine it's okay.

IMO this could be very helpful for LE to know if they did search or not...

Thanks. I agree the grouping in such close proximity is unsettling.

I must remember though that due to strict rules regarding residing near parks and schools we are seeng more and more "pockets" that RSO can live fill up with an inordinate number of them all in very close proximity to one another.

I think that there are 3 crime scenes: Meyers' Lake, where they were abducted, the vehicle in which they were transported, and the overgrown area where they were found.

Are the abduction site and recovery site both in the same county? If not, could charges be files by BOTH?

Based on knowledge of a current case of kidnapping/murder in Ohio, the county where the body is located/the scene of the murder is the county that files charges, prosecutes, jails the suspect(s). I don't know if this is the case in Iowa, or if it depends on other factors.

Bummer. I figured they could be charged with a kidnapping in one county and a murder/dumping of remains (can't think of the right word... abuse of a corpse?) in another. Then the sentences COULDN'T run concurrently. Then again, I suppose they could just be charged by the STATE which would cover all of it.

I wonder if that turnaround where the LE vehicles are seen is ever used as a campsite, there was a lot of talk of police looking at RVs I seem to remember. I keep thinking of Joseph Duncan holding the Groene children at a campsite in the National Forest for weeks.

I thought of that too but some of them do not have any residency restrictions....

Actually, it isn't uncommon for RSO's to live in the same area, or even in the same apartment building/house. They are limited in where they are allowed to live, i.e., can't be too close to a school or playground. If you check RSO's in any area, you will probably find at least two or three who live in the same apartment or near each other. JMO

I don't think an RSO (or unregistered SO) is involved in this case, but it's interesting that so many live in this mobile home park in a small community. JMO

ETA: tlcox, you beat me to it. You're doing okay on that tablet.
