wow..270 into park where they were at is straight shot from trailer park on Larrabee...just sayin...

And a straight shot towards the lake where they were abducted!

Exactly!
But than again if they have been killed more recently they would not be wearing the same clothes as the ones they had on when they went missing :banghead:
How were they identified than?
Even with dental records it would have taken longer.

Posibly the girls have been dead all along and the bodies kept elsewhere and only recently moved. Wish we knew state of remains. Skeletal, tissue still involved, so many unknowns.

Did they say if there are suspects or if anyone is in custody? Was this question even addressed? And...how can you speculate that the 2 bodies are E and L based on "stature" and "no one else is missing", when the parents haven't even viewed the bodies or identified them?

Something isn't right here IMO...

Purely speculation and I am going all out with this...I think there is a witness, participant, or suspect and he/she is talking. That is how they located the bodies, know it is L and E, and they are looking in the ditches a distance away from where the bodies were located because the person told them there is evidence (weaponss, clothes, belongings, etc) there!

I hope you are right! I agree.... what we have been told does not make me confident enough to ID them. They have to have more!

Could someone post a map for those of us (me) that are directionally challenged?

Thought I'd bring this over from the previous thread.

Now that two bodies have been found that likely are those of Elizabeth and Lyric, the reward money from Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers will go towards an arrest.

More than $150,000 is available to the person who helps authorities find the person responsible.

I don't remember the rules of the crime stoppers but it seems like some of the reward money should go to the hunters who found the remains. Their minds and hearts will be forever scarred by this event.

Oh I don't know. I feel it's possible they were wearing same clothes. If perp was using them and planning to kill them later anyway it wouldn't matter about the clothes. That's IF they were found in ALL the same clothing...which we don't even know yet.

i keep wondering if the perp carried smaller elizabeth in first and then carried lyric, who was over twice as heavy as elizabeth and got tired? can't tell where the road is or who was found where but i keep trying to come up with reasons they weren't put together...hmmmm

jmo but I dont think they were carried. I think they were put there on some kind of vehicle.

Very good point. Also it's possible they were killed more recently than when they first went missing. But yeah, the bodies would be scattered had they been there any length of time.

I spoke with Chief Craft for a few minutes. He was very relaxed and easy to talk to. I asked what the story was on the bike grips. He said there was only one found, couldn't remember if it was on the bike or not, and no dna was on it. We moved to forensics and he said that BSL/🤬🤬🤬 had put cayenne pepper on the grave to keep animals and dogs away.

It is about 500 feet from the turn around to where they were found. As soon as I can figure out how to post an image I'll include one:banghead:

I don't think they were found that far apart.

Head fuzzy battery low. G'night all. Wishing you all fruitful sleuthing.

The bodies apart like that could mean there were two perps involved, imo.

I agree. It wasn't long after the bodies were found yesterday, that someone reported Heather, I believe commenting on facebook that the bodies were the girl's. Now how could she and the family have concluded that so soon without any family member seeing the bodies? As a parent, clothing alone would not confirm it for me. Would dental records confirm it that fast? Maybe pictures? I don't know.

Who else could it be besides the girls? Two children, one smaller than the other, most likely wearing the clothes they were last seen in with hair matching Lyric and Elizabeth's hair. No other two children missing of the same size and with the same clothes on when last seen. In my opinion there would be no doubt in my mind who these children are if I were the parent. Or LE. JMO MOO :moo::moo:

Girls appear to have been located approx 50 feet from one another. People are finding that odd. So near and so far at the same time.

I don't find that odd at all. Although I hate to say it, they have been exposed to wildlife which could well account for any distance between remains.

And we don't really know for sure that the white items represent where remains were found. They probably do, but they could be covering other evidence.

This is the map between locations

Does that mean you think the bodies were moved after they were found? Or that the distance between them just isn't "that far" as in they are closer than it looks?

Here's a map of the park area. They were found near a "bend" in the river.

They're probably over in the area of the crime scene tape.

Thank You. I did notice after close look that it appears that the water was much higher. iirc a poster back some said that it had been dry this summer. That would explain for all the exposed soil. The area that the bodies are located would have been much closer to the water, I would expect that the area that the bodies are located in would have been tall (3 1/2) average uplands/wetland grasses.

IIRC Lizzie had braces on her teeth?

:waitasec:

If that's the case then there must be dental records. And I wouldn't want to speculate about why those wouldn't provide the ability to conclusively identify her. Or maybe they only have one conclusive ID and want to confirm both at the same time.
