Sarx, LE just started to request that the boater come forward Sunday, July 22 nd.

IMO, LE has known about this paddle boater since the beginning of the case.

Releasing the paddle boater info right now is very deliberate, IMO.

The paddle boater has made themselves scarce, possibly.

They have not come forward.

Why wouldn't LE give the color and possible number of seats? Maybe someone knows someone. But i guess just a paddle boat they feel is good enough info.

I just listened to Elizabeth's message on her Dad's phone.

The message is from the day before she went missing.

It doesn't have anything to do with her going missing, unless she did not normally phone her Dad, or leave messages saying "I miss you".

JMO

Wouldnt the fact that his daughters gone missing help at the very least to delay the court proceedings?..

I dont think thats what happened im justa throwing it out there...

I've been wondering where Lyric's cell phone could be now. We know she left it Gm's house. Does anyone think it's possible that it was sent as evidence to the lab? Maybe there was something on the cell phone that confirms they are alive. I guess it's possible there were texts that lead LE/FBI to believe the girls are alive.
A text could be sent by anyone. A VM, pic or video? Not tech savvy, but could LE verify the time of such?

Maybe there is a unknown witness who reports being at Meyers Lake that day and this witness says he/she saw someone on a paddle boat at the lake who should be able to confirm whatever he/she is reporting. No one else has said they saw a paddle boat at Meyers Lake so LE is asking for anyone who was on a paddle boat that Friday to come forward. In other words, perhaps it's possible that LE wants to know if there really was a paddle boat there on July 13th and if there was one, they want to ask what the people might have seen.

Does anyone have a link for images of the public searching for this case? TIA

Someone suggested that I need to be a verified poster - I am verified on another thread with my tracking dogs - do I need to be verified on this one also?
Nope! Once you're verified as a dog tracking person, you're verified for all cases! :rocker:

:waitasec: Does Drew have upcoming court proceedings? I thought that was Dan Morrisey, Lyric's dad who had ongoing legal issues.

I don't think EC parents are up on charges. I thought it was Misty boyfriend and ex husband?

How many kids phone home to say i love you and miss you? With no other words? Unless shes been away from home for a while? JMO

I don' think the VM is too far-fetched.

When ever my daughter, who is 7, gets hold of my cell phone, she calls her Dad. The messages are usually "Where are you?" or "Hi Daddy!" followed by her breathing, then she hangs up. She calls me and leaves brief messages like that too. She likes phoning people and isn't that savvy about leaving messages yet. Perhaps Elizabeth is the same.

What I do find a bit odd, but not suspicious, is that no one heard the message, or knew it was there, for several days.

ETA: THIS paddleboat stuff is bizarre!

I hadn't heard that swimming is not allowed at this lake. Is it a reservoir?

If I remember correctly, it is a manmade lake. I do remember earlier in the thread locals saying it is non-swimming.

Hadn't considered this angle, Considering. So you theorize that seeking the paddle boater/witness is to corroborate someone else's statement and that LE are not necessarily even sure said paddle boater exists.

Hmmm, gonna chew that one for a while. Food for thought. Thanks.

I also find it really, really odd. But locals earlier informed us that they sometimes have messages arrive days after being sent.

I don't think EC parents are up on charges.

DC does not have a criminal record. Poster is thinking of his brother-in-law DM whose rap sheet has been the subject of many MSM articles.

Don't have the link, but wasn't it reported by Tammy or Gma, that LE took their CARS on the trail in looking for the girls. If that is true, then why did it take them an hour to find the bikes? I could slow jog that trail in less than 10 minutes. The 16 yo son of HC could have run it much faster I'm sure. IMO

Not really significant but HC's son is 12.

I haven't heard anything about using dogs at the site of the video footage near the grandma's house.

I wonder why they haven't done that...to see how far they may have ridden.

Would it be a problem to track them if they played and rode their bikes on these streets every day?

It's always important to remember that just because the public hasn't heard about it, doesn't mean that it wasn't done.

Trailing is definitely made more challenging when you're working an area that is heavily contaminated by daily routines, but the handler should know if it's something they train for, and either they or the requesting party should know to figure that part out.
