LE isn't sure the girls were at the lake. They said so. Maybe the reason they are not 100% sure is because of the dogs. What if the scent they were given by family to track the girls was fresh but there was no first hand scent to follow, only the scent of them on the bikes mixed with the scent of the abductor? Meaning - their scent was there but they never were.

I think that is why LE stopped with the dogs. The perp drove a vehicle with the bikes to the lake, pulled in the little lane and dumped the bikes. IMO

Does anyone remember Aunt T making a statement that Misty used to keep Luric away from Dan whenever she suspected any type of drug use? I swear I remember it and for the life of me I cannot find it. I'm not asking someone to find it, just to confirm to me that I didn't just imagine it.

Yes, I do remember we discussed that here. I don't know if it was from a written article or an interview on tv.

Just thinking out loud here...so they want the interview footage from July 19 & 20, and Misty said that it was on the sixth night (which would be the 19th) that the FBI pounded on their motel room door. Did the FBI know about whatever is on the video footage at that point, I wonder?

I think it was Wed night, the 18th, which was the the fifth night, when the le folks went to their room.

I've never understood how Grandma, or anyone, could say where the girls went, or didn't go, on their bikes. Once they are out of view, how can they possibly know where they went?

ahhh that's using common sense!
If someone/ anyone didn't actually see the little girls
on the bike path that day, there's just no way to know
where they went. Unless they were vid taped on another
secuity camera.

Not sure what to make of this. Are they looking for something specific? I'm assuming they are because if LE was on a fishing expedition, they would have said all footage from day one, right? They wouldn't have specified these two days only.

Without the production of documents from KWWL, the applicant — county attorney Tom Ferugson — “feels a complete investigation of the matter is impossible.”

“There is at this time not enough evidence available to the county attorney’s office to warrant an information being filed,” the subpoena states.
