I went to google earth to see if I could get a visual for where the camera captured the girls. (Sorry I could not figure out how to turn off the rain so the pic isn't that good.) Most of you said it looked like the girls had turned right and then into the front view of the camera. There is not a road right there. I marked it on my map with a red arrow. The small red line is where it looked to me like a person. The blue arrow is the camera. The yellow house I believe is E's.



ETA: I got E's house wrong. It is not the corner one, it is two over with the red car.

The girls are most definitely riding west on Brovan heading toward River Forest Road. The closest ATM going in that direction would mean they turned north on River Forest Road and went past this ATM:

It is what initially made LE more than usually suspicious of her but in and of itself, it is not probable cause.

I should say here that I am not a lawyer!

I just can't imagine going to a judge, asking for a search warrant or subpoena and saying "well, probable cause is that the person named, the mother, smiles and laughs too much."

I don't think that happened though -- I'm SURE LE checked with her employer to see what time she clocked out.

What was her shift that day? I've heard that she came home from work and that she was called at work because the girl's were missing and left to go to Heather's? :waitasec:

It will really anger me if they bother to stop in the middle of the search for these precious girls, to subpoena evidence concerning something trivial like breaking a No Contact order, or drinking on probation.

I think if LE did so, it would be because they are convinced that person has further information and the arrest would be a pressure tactic.

I wonder if the bank and the TV station volunteered that they have important footage, and the subpoena is just the standard formality for them to release it to anyone. For example, if they want your medical records they have to formally subpoena for them so the medical institution doesn't breach dr/patient privacy, etc. I expect the ATM footage will show more than the girls riding by..as that would only enhance a timeline. It may show some kind of financial transaction or something like that which is probably is protected by a privacy law. Building surveillance cameras may not fall into that category...I don't know the laws.

The 20th is the day Misty was wearing the black tank top and seen in a picture at the bar/restaurant that night, right? The vigil was that night too? I think there is a video for that also.

If we could make a list of what was happening those two days and the videos for those two days we might be able to find some clues.

ETA: Not sure on the date of the things stated above.

If the girls were being hidden, which I doubt-how does this end? They are old enough to tell who had them, or at least describe them and how it went down, so how can they just release them, assuming they are alive? And what would be the purpose? What money is there in something like this? I don't get it.

If they are being held by someone they don't know, then to them this is a kidnapping situation. If they are released to a public location, then they can describe but do not have information on who their kidnapper(s) is?

And I know the bank acct was set up within days of the disappearance and persons were on the FB actively encouraging people to donate money to the families for gas, cell phone bills, expenses etc because they obviously weren't working. Well the majority of them obviously weren't working before this either. :waitasec:

We are having a severe thunderstorm right now, tornado watch, etc... I hope the girls are safe and not outside. (sounds strange for me to say that, I know they are probably not safe considering the circumstances, I just know how storms scare little ones. I have two girls 10 & 8 and live not far from Waterloo) anyway praying they are safe as possible...

I wouldn't be surprised if the Collins' freezer and refrigerator were filled to the max with food brought to them by friends.

When I got out of the hospital in 2005, people we didn't even know brought casseroles to help us out.

And you bet we ate them. Never crossed our minds that there might be something wrong with them.

An article posted earlier (sorry don't have the link handy) stated that the Vineland church has 9 people who are supplying meals daily to both families.
