I don't know. Might have seemed like a good plan to someone who is desperate about something?

I'm at a loss too because I don't think the family is involved but there are so many strange things and discrepancies surrounding this whole case.

MOO

This theory just seems to come up in lots of cases, so that is why I am curious. I've never really seen it work.

But what happened to the story that Misty came home around 1:30pm after she got off of work and told Gma to leave and go do her thing with Tammy and she would wait for the girls to come home and bring Lyric home with her? And then when Heather got home at 2pm the girl's still weren't home and she decided to go to the police station? And then Drew called the Gma to tell her to come back so she came back with Tammy?

I'm so confused. :waitasec:

MOO

Every one has a different story of the same events. There is more.

That interview also said something about Gma telling them to find their own kids she had things to do (paraphrasing).

She left for work at 8:30. She was called by Grandma at 2. I do not know what she did at that point because no one has said. Don't think she was at the PD with Heather. Don't think she was at lake with Grandma, Tammy, and E's brother (because they didn't mention it when they were on tv). I believe Drew was watching the kids. When did Dan get on the scene? His mother brought him to the lake?

SBM

Tammy B: ...So the bike trail wraps around and then comes back east, and that`s where the bikes were, in fact, found.

So when Misty had -- when they`d found the bikes and called us and told us, Misty was standing here with us, Misty immediately called Dan and Dan called his mother.
She was at work. She took work off, and she hurried up and picked Dan and Dylan up and came down here and met us to start the search and all of that for the kids, yes.

Just saw video, forgive repeat of observation- it appears to show person? behind right white truck, then as cyclists pass "tuck in' behind same white truck. Wonder about the height of bike wheels with rider and height of truck for sizing of dark looking moving object/person?

I have watched and watched...I don't see this? Where? When?
Ok, I see. Slight darkness on far side of trailer after both girls pass?

 • #1,026
Thanks! That is where I am seeing it too. Anyone having trouble seeing it -- you aren't looking for anything other than motion, inside the area of that orange circle on the screen shot. Don't look at the girls on the right - just watch where they ride by between the white trailer and shed, then KEEP YOUR EYE ON THAT SPOT. At :07, there is a third blur of motion.

I see more than motion. I see a figure.

Was she starting to say, "When Misty had found the bikes" -- ?!?!

Also, I'm sure who really called whom and when will be sorted out by phone records. And their phone records darn well better match their stories!

(By the way, how do these people all afford cell phones when NONE OF THEM HAVE JOBS?! Drew is the only person in the entire Fam-Damily who seems to have a job! Oh, and Misty, but her job is new.)

WC starts driving around looking for the girls @ 12:30.

WC return to EC house @ 1:30 where she said she had things to do and for MCM and HC to find their own kids. WC met Tammy in Waterloo.

WC and TB were called @ 2:30 to come back to Evansdale and help look for girls.

TB insists on going to Myers Lake and at 2:45 she was told the girls were there.

LE notified @ 3:00.

So 2 1/2 hours went by before the girls were reported missing. I find it hard to believe no one has said anything about the wait time. Especially since they insisted from day 1 the girls had been abducted.

Good night all. I should say morning because it is 2am here. I will catch up tomorrow.

http://www.kwwl.com/story/19066921/family-of-missing-girls-gets-attorney

this is the page for story of the 19th..click on interview with lyric mother for the video

From that link:
"On Friday morning, Misty Morrissey contacted KWWL, saying she wanted to set the record straight.

"We were woke up in the middle of the night after we'd fallen asleep after the sixth night by the DCI. We were put into rooms and we were for three hours accused of taking our children. Told that we did it, that we need to tell them where the children are at. It was a pretty intense coercion," Misty Morrissey said. "So at that point, just being regular people off the street, we thought we might need just some legal representation or advice.""

Do you think this subpoena thing is to get video of her talking about being in a motel with Dan because it was a violation of the no contact order? Nah, actually I don't think it is. Because the subpoena said re: a crime that had been committed on 7/13. Were they together on 7/13? Yes, at the lake later that evening. Hmmm. I don't know. I guess we have to wait and see. I doubt KWWL is going to let us in on it.

Why?! She stated that she just saw them ride their bikes by Lederman's at 12:15 (Verified by security Cameras). Why would she be concerned at 12:30? And she doesn't have to leave until 1:30. So why start looking for them at 12:30?

Yet another good question. Any ideas?

Wait a second! "When they found the bikes and called us and told us, Misty was standing here with us..." So they were at the lake (at 2:45 per Tammy talking about the man who saw the girls) and LE came at 3, and the bikes were found at 3:58 and someone called them to tell them? Someone called from from the other side of the lake?

Where was Misty between

2 pm when she was called and told to go to Heather's
and
sometime after 3:58 when they were called to say the bikes had been found?

And if you go back to the first thread, all the times were way different than they are now. We heard back then that Grandma looked from 3-4 and then called LE at 4. The missing posters were printed saying last seen riding their bikes at the lake around 2.

Every time I try to figure out who did what and when - 2:00 always comes back to me. Something went down at 2. I wish I had a computer program I could plug all this data into and have it tell me where all the conflicts/inconsistencies are.

What about TG who saw the bikes dumped at 12.20?

In the interview of just WC she says Misty left work early and was at EC house at 1:30 along with HC and DC. I think that is the right interview.

It looks to me in the video like the girls are riding behind the sheds. Is this an alleyway they came down? Then they turn right onto the street where we see a full shot of them riding by.
I do believe what is seen is the girls riding by behind the sheds, and they make a right turn onto the street to pass by the camera. JMO

I hope so! Very hard to tell.

Hello! Just caught up, been following for days but never posted. In case you are still wondering, I am 99.9% positive MC works at the Casey's in Elk Run Heights, which is, IMO, too far for them to bike, so them visiting her is unlikely! I am from Elk Run (live in Waterloo now) and my parents still live there, so I go there (Casey's) quite often. Just wanted to throw that out there!

2 pm when she was called and told to go to Heather's
(OR 1:30 when she just naturally left work and went to pick up Lyric, depending on which version you believe)
and
sometime after 3:58 when they were called to say the bikes had been found?

And if you go back to the first thread, all the times were way different than they are now. We heard back then that Grandma looked from 3-4 and then called LE at 4. The missing posters were printed saying last seen riding their bikes at the lake around 2.

If Misty left work at 1:30, why didn't she arrive at HC's until 2:00, when it was "just right down the street"?

Had to go get rid of some bikes first? (Sorry - I really can't help myself!)

THANK YOU!!! It has been driving me crazy because I always remembered it being East. Then the last few times I saw it, it was West. And I thought ok maybe someone messed it up along the way - but it was told both ways, wasn't it?!! <snipped for space>

I dunno if I'm thankful I'm not totally crazy or happy I'm not the only one... :) But YES I heard it both ways too and when I saw West I went "huh? I thought it was east!" maybe meaningless but they say no tip's meaningless right?

So if that is the case - WC says Misty was at the house at 1:30

and Misty says WC called her at 2.

Nothing is adding up. I don't know if it is something or just overall confusion about the times things happened.

Time for bed! Good night all!
