I think in the subpeona, they got wind of someone in the background, someone with one of the two named women, and it might be someone one of them had denied seeing or something. I don't know. It could be anything and then this guy not showing for court. I wonder how long since he was last seen.

I definitely saw the motion people are mentioning. It looks like someone was standing by the white trailer and moved quickly when they came riding by. Here is my lame attempt at depicting what I see, taken from still screen shots of the video.

I think the order is a little screwed up, I apologize for that. I just wanted to point out where I was seeing motion in the video segment.

Were they discarded carelessly or not? Were they both pointing the same way? How much distance was between them?

With the Susan Smith case her slip up was saying she was stopped at a red light, but saw no other cars.

I can't find anything fact related in the July 19th news video that MCM would have slipped up on which leaves me wondering about the uncut video.

"just being regular people off the street" - Strange way to refer to herself and DM. Most regular people off the street don't have missing children.

"we're pretty devastated" - not totally devastated?

I am completely unable to relate to what I perceive to be her calm and casual demeanor considering her child is missing.

Abben also declined to elaborate on any clues found with the girls’ bicycles, saying only that they had been processed. Abben said that while the bikes were found on the recreational trail by the lake, "that doesn't tell me (the girls) have been there, just their bikes."


“The area the bikes were found is fenced on both sides,” Dan Morrissey said. “It was right where the maintenance gate was, so that is a spot to me that looks like a trap, you know, for an abduction to happen; for someone to just come along right there and follow them down or whatever.

“It would probably be the worst spot for them to be, that little area right there,” he said.

Uh I've not been around here much lately so trying to catch up on this.

Right away something is hinky.one child to go missing is tough but 2 which is/would be harder to abduct so I'm guessing they knew him/her.

I seen on Facebook that guy didn't turn up to court which kinda sent alarm bells ringing in my head.

I sure hope these girls are safe,even though I don't live in the same country is it still really off putting to let my kids out to play on their own when they are a little older.
When I was young we would be able to go into the woods at the park and build tree swings and ride our bikes up and down the muddy hills etc good innocent fun, the world is going to pot lately.

Yes I agree and remembered your post immediately. In watching the original one I thought it might be a person but also could easily be a deceptive looking shadow. In re-watching this one I am positive I see motion other than the two girls, I'm just not postive if it's a video artifact, angle, or something (or more like someone) else.

They're either the same video with one zoomed in or one next door to the other, I haven't been able to fully understand which. Either way the angle and what's shown could be slightly different and I think we see more in this 12:11 one.

Does anyone have links to both videos so they can be compared? tia

I went to google earth to see if I could get a visual for where the camera captured the girls. (Sorry I could not figure out how to turn off the rain so the pic isn't that good.) Most of you said it looked like the girls had turned right and then into the front view of the camera. There is not a road right there. I marked it on my map with a red arrow. The small red line is where it looked to me like a person. The blue arrow is the camera. The yellow house I believe is E's.

ETA: I got E's house wrong. It is not the corner one, it is two over with the red car.

This pic scares me. The kids might have been just biking to the end and back. Notice the trucks at the end of the street? If a trucker took them, but it would make sense to take the bikes to a different location because if the bikes were found right there, you would suspect the trucker. JMO

And remember the 19th/20th was last Thurs/Fri when they told us they found new evidence. Friday was the day they were stopping cars. Hmmm.

The following morning Misty took a urine analysis and a polygraph test. The 18th was the Wednesday night that investigators went to the hotel that Dan & Misty were staying at together. Misty had to take a drug test the following morning. Perhaps the "sample" was not truly Misty's & they discussed it on camera on the 19th or 20th not knowing they were being recorded. :what:

I think we do need to confirm which Casey's Misty works at. I do recall her saying it was just blocks from Heather's or from the lake. How did we get the location on Hollye's map? It seems River Forest would be the closest.

As I recall, a local provided that info, that she worked at the Elk Run Heights location on Lafayette.

"David Mullin, a defense attorney for Jason Stolfus, who was arrested with Morrissey and faces the same charges, said the prosecutor told him Morrissey’s plea agreement “fell through.” He said police reports show Morrissey implicated his client in crimes after both were arrested in December. But he said Stolfus would not have a motive to take the children because he has been offered a favorable plea deal in which he would likely avoid prison.”

Good questions.

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. I believe the two bikes were spotted by a regular ( runner/cyclist TG??) in the middle of the path. But,when the girls were missing and search for them began the two bikes were then discovered leaning up against the fence. I don't know which direction or how far apart.

Forgive me if details are off- I am a little behind in this case- I find the cases are so very heartbreaking, so I usually try to wait a week or ( more) so before iseluthie.
